Best host you can get. Attentive to details and caring and friendly and helpful. Very kind and nice hosts. Thanks for everything and your offer with heart and love: yummy cookies, lovely bread, cold water, milk, juice and yummy yogurt for breakfast. Carpark right outside the room. Wish you all the best with all our love and appreciation.

limited cooking facilities would benifit from an airfryer as no space for oven. under the bed not clean, thick full of pet hairs. but these are minor the annexe was lovely.

very comfortable, amazing bed and shower. owners checked in via message to see if anything was needed . good selection of breakfast items.

Beautiful and welcoming house. Every little detail was studied and researched. The hosts were thoughtful and attentive by providing us with farm fresh eggs, freshly baked bread, milk and orange juice. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was wonderful with a very powerful jet of water. It was difficult to leave it, I have never stayed in such a beautiful house. I hope to come back soon!

No Complaints at all might be handy if there was a hook to hang a wet coat in the bathroom, as the weather was a tad wet.

The Old General Store annex had all the basic essentials we could have asked for it was a very comfortable stay.

Absolutely nothing to dislike. This is an amazing place to stay and great value for money.

Everything was exceptional. The fridge was stocked with fresh farm produce (eggs, butter, fresh baked bread) milk, fresh orange juice and yoghurt selection. As well as teas, coffee and biscuits. It was very well appointed with everything you would need to cook in the lovely little kitchenette. Warren and Annette are on hand for anything you need and were great with advise and local tips :)

I very much enjoyed my stay at The Old General Store. The owners have thought carefully about the decor and providing a cosy space, and it has a good shower. Whilst it is a compact studio apartment, it felt very comfortable and I hope to stay again. Butleigh is a lovely place and I enjoyed the quietness of the village setting.

The fact that we only stayed a couple of nights!!! Wish we'd had longer.

The Old General Store was absolutely beautifully furnished and decorated and perfectly equipped for all our needs. The hosts had thought of everything, from the towels and blankets for the doggies to the breakfast cereals, tea, coffee, fresh bread, eggs, butter and fruit for the humans. Plus other thoughtful extras like shampoo and shower products. Gorgeous linen and towels too. Location is in a lovely quiet little village, on street parking right outside the property, only a short drive to Glastonbury and surrounds. Could not fault this lovely place at all. Thank you Annette and Warren xx
