Struggling to think, but the only point that I could mention was that the shower pressure was not very powerful.

Hadn't realised the location was so central. Breakfast was outstanding. An old building, with lots of period detals. Lovely large room overlooking the garden which had a beautiful weeping willow (and was very quiet).

Being an old building there isn't a lift however staff were always on hand to lift your luggage to the room

The Old Deanery was a perfect location for the cathedral, canal and town in beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was fabulous! The staff were so friendly, helpful, happy and chatty. We had a lovely stay. I would recommend.

This hotel exceeded our expectations! The location was fantastic. Rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. We had a great welcome from the hosts who made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was different to the normal meal. Really tasty nibbles and selections of crumpets and cheese.

Breakfast was amazing and unexpected. Location was great for Light Water Valley. Rippon is a lovely town and the Cathedral is beautiful. The property is old, charming and beautiful and staff were very welcoming.

Had a lovely room with a view of the cathedral, but sadly (and this is onjy a minor thing) there was no dressing table area. As we had a function to attend, putting makeup on and doing hair was a bit of a challenge!

The location was really good, right in the heart of Ripon beside the beautiful cathedral, with its own parking.

The Old Deanery is not open all week so suits a short stay towards the end of the week and over the weekend.

The Old Deanery is a fabulous, friendly and very comfortable place to stay opposite the cathedral. It was easy to find, had free parking and close to all Ripon has to offer. The breakfast was included and delicious - very different to other places. It started with tea/coffee, fresh juice or a freshly made smoothie. Then we were given granola with the creamiest of yoghurt and fresh fruit; cut meats, smoked salmon, cheeses, chutney, hummus, and a basket of freshly baked breads and pastries. This was followed by a tasting plate based on a traditional breakfast ... delicious. The vegetarian option was equally good. We will definitely return.
