Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I usually stay in hotels and didn't know how I would feel being in someones property but Helen really has nailed the balance of friendliness and professionalism, she was totally unobtrusive but at the same I knew she was around if I needed anything. 10/10
Helen was a wonderful host, the house was easy to find and with parking in a great location. The room was really lovely - peaceful, spacious, clean and comfortable with lovely views of the garden. Shower room was very clean with good facilities and hot water, and I slept like a baby in the good sized comfortable bed! I even had room to practice yoga when I woke with lovely views. Great options for breakfast that were cooked to order and all in for a very good price.

United KingdomThe room was a little chill. There was no obvious way to adjust the heating to get it to come on. I suspect that it is centrally controlled as part of the house system and set to the owners specifications.
I did not have time for breakfast as I left so early for work. The location gave me the chance to see a local friend. I may be back when I have more time.

My room was changed from a double to a family room, which I was slightly disappointed about, but it was just unfortunate that my original room was not available. (The king bed wasn’t made up but I didn’t ask to have it made up even though this was offered)
The breakfast was very good, Helen (the owner) asked what I would like and was freshly prepared. The room was comfortable and clean, and had everything I needed. Helen made my stay an enjoyable experience.

United KingdomWe stayed in the garden room, which was great. Small thing though, Would have been nice to have some net curtains, as to change etc we felt we had to keep the large curtains over the french doors closed incase we gave an innocent garden-dweller a fright!
Breakfast was fantastic, varied, and plentiful! Fruit, yoghurt, cereal, toast, full english. Helen even had decaf coffee to brew for me. Helen was great - the perfect (and rare) bnb owner who is flexible, friendly, relaxed and accomodating! Room was super clean and lovely cotton sheets, comfy pillows, etc. kettle and teas. Hot shower.
