We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United Kingdomgreat hosts, very helpful and friendly but equally left you be if you didn’t need them. Room was lovely, well equipped with beautiful view! Freshly cooked breakfast made when you arrived in the dining room each morning, lots of choices including Gluten Free and other dietary requirements. Location was just right for us, not too close the busy areas but walking distance to North bay, shops and bus stop. Taxi was just £6 to town. Lovely outdoor seating area and friendly bar/lounge in evening. Overall an absolute gem of a find for us and we will certainly be back!!!

Loved Brian and Costa, nothing was too much for them! Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Had many chats with Brian and he told us where to go for meals and decent pubs! In house pub was a great start to a couple of nights out. Other guests were lovely too, lots of chats and giggles. Will defi itely be back a d would definitely recommend.

United KingdomThe door to our bathroom had glass panels in it and with no blind on the bathroom window it meant that the bedroom got really light early on a morning.
Location was great, perfect for going to the Open Air Theatre and right next to Peasholm Park. North Bay beach and nearest bus stop to South Bay only 5 mins away. Brian and Costa were lovely hosts and the breakfast was lovely. Everywhere was really clean and well looked after.

We stayed for a couple of nights over the weekend to attend a gig at the Scarborough Open Air Theatre. We knew the hotel was close to the gig, but it was surprisingly so; literally only a few minutes walk away via a picturesque walk. The hotel itself is clean, spacious, airy and very welcoming. We stayed in a twin room with en-suite bathroom as all the doubles had sold out by the time we got around to booking. There was tea/coffee facilities and biscuits in the room and they are happy to supply more if you need them, just ask. Brian and Costa are perfect hosts - The breakfast which was included in the cost was plentiful, cereals, fruit, all the things you'd expect at a much bigger operation and a cooked breakfast made to order. Costa's mushrooms are legendary btw. Brian is a wonderfully warm and friendly man who met us at check-in and made us feel very welcome - we don't tend to go into hotel bars when we stay away but we dropped into the one at Norlands and ended up staying a while both nights, chatting to Costa and Brian and having a really good giggle with them and some of the other guests. I hadn't really considered Scarborough as a weekend destination (I live on the opposite coast!) and only travelled to attend the rescheduled gig, but I would definitely consider going back there now and I would 100% rebook at Norlands. Brian even text us the morning we left to say have a safe trip and that he hoped to see us again soon! Lovely couple who feel like old friends very quickly. Will be keeping an eye on the Open Air Theatre schedule next year so we have an excuse to come back!

Superb clean hotel in a brilliant position, short walk to peasholm park, the beach and the open air theatre. shops and restaurants also close by. Brian and Costa where very friendly, professional and were always willing to help and give advice. The breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal and then the delicious full english, if you wanted anything different they were always willing to oblige. Will definitely stay again and will recommend to family and friends. Thank you Brian and Costa.
