Water pressure low on top floor. Hot tap was cold. Dents in the door, no shaving mirror in bathroom.

Comfortable bed, good view from windows, good breakfast, friendly staff.

I found the fire door to the rooms heavy and it's location adjacent but at an angle to the bottom step really difficult to negotiate especially with a dog. I didn't like that there was what appeared to be random equipment and laundry in the breakfast room . Spend a bit more on decent sausages and breakfast would have been perfect.

Staff were warm and welcoming. Definitely dog friendly which was important to us. Our room "the flat " was dated but clean and comfortable although if self catering lacking basics. Best bacon that we've had in years at Breakfast. Free on street parking was a bonus.

Very noisy band playing unfortunately not too bad up in the attic but kids with us dangerous beams in the ceiling banged our heads.. and up 3flights no parking but left car outside side door was frightend that punters would walk into the car or worse. We were glad to see it the following morning.

Good value reasonable place to stay in area (no designated parking)

    • Solo traveller
    • Double Room
    • Stayed 3 nights

Smallish window for fresh air (there was a fan); small TV; no wifi signal as at top of building (Two flights of stairs). No parking - the area is largely on-street parking & pot luck how close you can park.

Value for money place to stay whilst working in the area. Room decent size and adequate bathroom. Able to access from the street without going through bar.

Bathroom a little cramped. Bedroom curtains not cover whole of the windows.

Stayed in the apartment and the living & bedroom areas were spacious enough.

Not much. Considering the reasonable price, it was fine. The surrounding area is rather depressing with many shops boarded up and the young people tend to gather under lampposts in search of mischief or entertainment.

Clean room. Comfortable king size bed. My room was on the top floor with only one window, but there was a fan in the room which helped keep it comfortably cool. Noise wasn't an issue as I stayed on a Monday night. Pub was downstairs and had its usual assortment of characters. No food service in the hotel, but there's a great fish and chips place just down High Street and you can eat it in the pub.

I don't think it helps to write negative things, the cost of the room was quite low, so I was just expecting somewhere to sleep for a night out. The room was adequate, and fairly clean. The staff were lovely. Plenty of coffee for the morning! I didn't have breakfast so I can't comment. I will definitely come back.

It was within a reasonable walking distance to The Patriot Rock Club in Crumlin (about 22 minutes). And I was able to hold the booking months before the music event. The price of the room was good.

We were upset that the bar had to close early every night, would have liked to have been advised of this

Location was exactly what we wanted, room was very ok, exceptionally clean and beautiful size room, staff in bar were lovely. We were very disappointed that the bar closed at 8pm, the nature of our journey ment we were back at around 8pm and was very much looking forward to having a few drinks. We did manage just to get a couple of drinks that we were Able to have in our room but it wasn’t the same. We would have liked more teabags and coffee and loo rolls put into our room daily but no one appeared to top them up.

We had a family room which was located at the top of the hotel. The ceilings were very low, which is sort of to be expected, but you had to be very careful walking round the room. The bathroom was tiny and the shower didn't work very well. There was one mirror in the room which was ok for us but the fact it was a family room.,could be a little awkward. The hotel is very dated and could do with a little modernising. We paid £65 for one night stay, and that didn't even include breakfast, which I think is a little disappointing. But there are not any other hotels nearby so I suppose that's why they charge what they do.

It was convenient for the Patriot and we managed to park for free in the station just a few minutes walk away, although there is street parking too. Staff were friendly and beds were comfortable. A great view of the mountains from the window.

Extremely friendly and kind staff who were approachable and eager to please. My room, no.1, was very warm & cosy. I was able to leave my bags for a couple of hours after checking out to enable me to walk to say goodbye to my family who live nearby.
