United KingdomI met some new acquaintances on a Triumph Adventure day ... they had tried to book but the place was full so book as early as you know you are going anywhere around Swansea. But the good news is if the plan goes well to have more accommodation availability one or two doors down.
A great busy pub used by a lot of locals gave me a view that there is a true community, and the New Swan is the place to meet up. So friendly, left thinking is that just a Welsh characteristic or maybe deeper and a Ystalyfera golden value.

United KingdomWe didn’t mind as we were in the bar, but band on on a Sat night who were loud and could be heard from the room - just to bear in mind if you wanted an early night.
Excellent welcome and great value for money. Near our family who we were visiting. Above a lovely pub with fab atmosphere and filled with wonderful Welsh people. Good music on!

The Pub was easy to find being on the main road, we had a room at the front which did suffer from road noise having to have the windows open but not too bad. Room was clean, beds were small but comfortable. Good breakfast but difficult to find places to eat without having to drive, Tiffin Indian was very good but the steak and ribs place nearby was fully booked every night so check out before you travel and book in advance.

United KingdomThe lack of evening meal facilities was unfortunate, but they were happy for residents to bring a meal from the local chippy into the pub, even providing a plate and cutlery to allow them to be eaten in comfort.
The staff were excellent and the accommodation itself was in great condition and was very comfortable. The facilities for the accommodation included great storage options for my bike gear, a good shower and a comfortable bed. The breakfast was really good quality and great value, and the staff were lovely at all times.

Convenient location not far from the centre of Swansea. Substantial breakfast nicely presented. Quiet room in new annexe. Very clean and smartly fitted out. good shower with plenty of hot water. Comfortable bed. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

United KingdomA seriously well run hotel. Staff attention to detail was exceptional. Rooms very up to date and spacious and separate from the pub where good home cooked meals and plentiful breakfasts are served. Very popular sports pub especially for motor bikers. Each year there’s a biker festival where contestants from across the world gather. A gem of a find and a great stopping off place coming from England. The scenic route via Brecon avoids the snarl up of traffic around Cardiff’s M4 if you aren’t pushed for time.

United KingdomUnfortunately if you book through booking.com you don't get breakfast included. However you are able to buy breakfast which is very reasonably priced and tasty. It would be good if the bar served food later in the day without the need to book in advance. Rooms were a bit noisy due to the road and could do with some sound proofing, I was woken up late at night and early in the morning by the room next to me.
Beautiful rooms and super comfortable beds. Rooms look so much nicer than the photos on booking.com shows. I think they've recently opened up some additional rooms. Rooms had everything you needed such as tea and coffee making facilities and toiletries. Rooms were spacious. Staff were very helpful and friendly. There is a bus stop right outside with routes through to Swansea. Hotel is walking distance to tesco and has some takeaway options available close by.
