For me there wasn’t anything to not like.

The food is superb and had an excellent real ale on tap. The rare steak I had was cooked to perfection as most places seem to overcook everything these days! The big bull breakfast was great too! The location is brilliant too.

Our only downside was that you can’t control the temp on the shower

Beautiful barn themed room, comfy bed, loved the consistent style throughout the whole unit, air con was a plus, the meat options at the restaurant were fab, nice staff, dog friendly, lots of wildlife.

Our only issue was whilst it accepts dogs it was really 'dog friendly'.. outside could be accessed by all staying in the Moo'tel which meant the dogs couldn't be let off lead and had to be tethered on a short leash. If there was a gate or divider between each rooms outside space this would have resolved this for us. We couldn't tell from the pictures if this was the case or not but nethertheless we had a lovely stay although the dogs weren't best pleased.

We had a lovely stay with our 3 labradors. The room was well thought out with a seperate shared kitchen area which we mainly used for the fridge to cool our drinks. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. There was also outside space to sit out and enjoy the sunshine.

Only suggestion is perhaps a chair, as the room is big enough to take one.

We stayed in one of the rooms which was well laid out and clean. nice shower, the breakfast was delicious, fresh and excellent value for money - great mug of tea. View is lovely as well especially on a sunny day. Staff very friendly and helpful.

To make this stay even better we would highly suggest- - access to the park for the children that are guests, it's only for soft play users and you have to book and pay for that. - a black out lining for the curtains so the kids dont wake at the crack of dawn. We actually had a travel black out blind but the blind was too small to cover the double doors to the outside area. - the main door to our room didn't shut unless you locked it, so every time someone entered the hallway the door would rattle and bang. Also if one of us adults went out of the room we had to take all the keys with us otherwise they couldn't get back into the communal part, which mean the door to the room wasn't shut and we were room 6 directly opposite the communal part so it kept banging. - more toilet roll in the bathroom. - a shelf in the shower would be very helpful too.

It was a great set up, the bistro food was lovely, the soft play was fun (and helpful as it was raining when we arrived), the beds comfy, the shower good, it was very clean and the staff were so lovely and friendly. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend and stay again.

Providing shower gel/shampoo would have been nice. We were travelling by motorcycle and packing space was limited.

The hotel was great!.. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were fabulous. We used the hotel as a stop-off for a round Wales bike tour. The beds were very comfy, the food terrific and the location was spot on for our plans.

The location was perfect for site seeing and within easy reach of nearby towns. We originally booked 1 night but booked another night as loved the place.
