Just a bit noisy around the area (music in the village hall and music in the pub on a Saturday evening), but this did not go for much longer than past 11-11:30pm. Therefore not something to really complain about, although if this was a perfectly quiet spot it would have won an award for me.

Very spacious and well equipped family room, nicely decorated and really comfortable. The breakfast included in the price is well worth it. For just over £200 the room for 5 was super good value.

Clearly they have experienced problems with guests damaging the plumbing. They might wish to ease back on the instructions, which were very clear but a bit intimidating?

Perfect location for visiting Dover Castle and Canterbury Cathedral. Comfortable room, good food and friendly staff. Great stop.

One small thing was the duvet was very hot so we didn't get the best night's sleep.

A lovely B&B in the Kent countryside but close enough to explore different places.

Great pub which is a great example of how a British pub should serve the community. Excellent accommodation, service, food and drinks on offer. What's not to like.

Bouncy, squishy mattress. Tall table and stools in room. Only Kellogg's cereals, no yogurt or muesli. Nowhere for wet coats.

Fabulous evening meal and cooked breakfast. Lovely room with underfloor heating. Welcoming staff. Quiet.

Nothing with the property itself, everything was great. Maybe as it's located a little out in the sticks, arranging taxis to and from the train station was a little stressful and got expensive. I wonder if there could be interest in a "shuttle" service included with the booking in the future? Just an idea for them to do lifts to Folkestone or Dover stations, as that would take the stress out of arranging each time and help with a smoother stay.

We loved the underfloor heating in the lodge, check-in and communication was really easy, the staff were lovely and the breakfast was delicious! The room had everything we needed!

This is a personal preference, but the mattress on the bed was far too soft for both my partner and I as we both like sleeping on our fronts.

Breakfast and room were excellent. The pub has a lovely friendly atmosphere, and the bonus was a free electric car charging point at the property.
