The public areas are a bit tired but not dreadful. I prefer a bath rather than a shower but we had a nice clean modern bathroom with power shower so really couldn’t fault it too much

It was in a great location close to the town. There was parking and a podpoint for our electric car to charge.

Room a bit small

Breakfast was excellent. View from the room slightly disappointing as wall next to us obscured part of the view and we were on the ground floor so view mostly of grass and flood lights. View from the bar/lounge stunning and also from outside areas. Very pleasant terrace area.

The hotel was very warm which made it uncomfortable at times. Also we were originally placed in room number 3 which is downstairs. The window to this room has a massive colour changing floodlight outside which lights the room up like a night club even with the curtains closed. Thankfully we were moved to a room higher up away from the light.

The location looking over the coast was excellent. Also this hotel is dog friendly which is always a bonus. The breakfast was also very good.

the room where I stayed was at the top and it was a long walk along the corridor, also it was noisy due to a wedding function.

I liked the location and sea views, also went to the bar area which was nice but loud as during my stay there was a wedding function.

I always like staying at The Livermead Cliff . Staff are very helpful and the facilities are good . I always try and stay there when visiting Torquay.

Bit tired and they ‘upgraded’ our room to a triple (one small double bed plus one single) which meant the room was full of beds. The window was very small - difficult to see out as dressing table and mirror fixed in front of it.

Nothing. The hotel is old but clean and as you would expect for an old building.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Good parking facilities with electric car chargers. Nice buffet breakfast. The view from the lounge was stunning. Full view out to sea and along the coast towards Torquay harbour. Great entertainer one evening named Dave. Located between Torquay and Paignton.

Very dated throughout, bedroom was shabby and needed complete renovation and avocado bathroom suite wasn’t pleasant!

Great views and we were lucky enough to have a sea view however, the double glazed window was old and had condensation inside the actual window panes so the view was non existent unless window wide open. Staff were great.

Nothing to complain about. One can’t expect something for nothing, prices are fair. It’s Torquay, there will be no wildebeest striding majestically but it’s a great place to stay.

Magnificent views from the rear of hotel, the staff are amazingly helpful and always friendly. The food is good quality and reasonably priced, not all rooms are blessed with a panoramic vista but comfortable and well-kept.

We had huge problems regulating the shower. Being a mixer shower fed up from taps it proved a challenge we could have done without. A nice electric shower or other design would have been much nicer.

Our room was beautiful. Really large for three adults. The view was magnificent. Plenty of storage for clothes and luggage. The beds were very comfortable. It was lovely to have the use of a terrace. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Coffee particularly tasty.

The towel rail is permanently on in the bathroom and you are unable to turn off. TV is pretty temperamental and lights shone straight into bedroom from the garden to the rear of the property. They were turned off around 12 midnight.

Position of the hotel is exceptional. Beds comfortable, parking is good.

No air conditioning, toilet was very smelly, not sure of the last time it saw any bleach down it. The shower was a dribble, not a shower. The single bed... we nicknamed the marshmallow. No support and I've no idea how my son managed to sleep on it to be honest. Decor needs an update in the room we were in to complement the view and the avocado bath and basin combined with the white toilet, well, need I say more..?

The amazing location and sea view room. The staff were all really lovely. Coffee was a high standard, really lovely and the shortbread that comes with it was appreciated. We would definitely stay again but I would wish to get a fresher room to go along with the amazing views.
