United KingdomLime Tree Inn is a relatively new property which has been cleverly designed to create the atmosphere of a cosy country pub. It centres around a large bar and fireplace with a dining room to one side and more casual eating area to the other, suitable for customers with dogs. The food was exceptional. We wish to congratulate the owner/chef who is creating a special offering. They grow their own food, use local produce and the bread, butter and jams are all made in house. Fabulous.

The staff were very friendly & helpful & very good with our dog. The dinner was delicious & the breakfast amazing with lots on the menu & a good choice. The bar was lovely atmosphere & cosy. The young barman was really nice & had a great chat with us. Also the price was very reasonable for what you got, definitely go back when we're visiting York.

Beautiful peaceful setting just 8 miles outside of York. The Inn is tastefully decorated with spacious rooms. Staff are very friendly and accommodating Finally the food is 5 star standards

A very rural location, plenty of parking and easy access to the Inn, Accessability is excellent with a lift to the accommodation level. The service both in the bar and dining room was esxcellent. The served breakfast instead of a buffet was much appreciated The standard of the food is simply superior, absolute serendipity for such a remote location.

The pub is a recent newbuild but you would never know it once inside-such clever internal furniture and design/decorations. Very friendly hosts and very helpful happy staff. Fab food and a good reasonable wine list. Bedrooms exceptional and all at a great price.

Loved everything. The place is fresh and new but the bar and restaurant could have been there years. The food was magnificent and the staff were lovely with us both and the dog. The room was lovely, great facilities, would like to go again in the summer when we can go on long walks around the surrounding countryside.

This is a beautiful country pub with a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The staff were so friendly we felt like we were staying with friends. The food was outstanding. Dinner and breakfast were some of the best meals we have eaten in a long while. We loved it!
