Only thing i noticed were a few stains on the curtain but everything else super clean!!

The view from the balcony, the lovely chatty and smiley staff, size of the room. They also will let you order food and eat in the dining room before 10pm and have a bar. Great location for getting to Brighton Centre without being in a loud area.

There is parking for about 4 cars on a first come first served basis. Parking in the area seems ample but is regularly exceptionally full.

The location on the front was excellent and there are many good bars and restaurants.. The hotel itself is comfortable and welcoming. We didn't have breakfast as we needed to leave early each morning. The staff were very polite.

Bed was a little bit hard and the paintwork is a bit tired here and there, but it's a big old property so upkeep must be challenging.

The location is fantastic, central for the town, shopping,The Lanes, The Pier, the railway to the marina, bars and restaurants. Wonderful sea views and a balcony. Lovely touches with hairbands and razors in the bathroom, bathrobe and slippers. The staff were great, so friendly and helpful, they couldn't have been any kinder.

Hotel needs a some tlc, as it feels a bit old, the pelmet of the curtains in my room was hanging off and prob needs a paint refresh - but these are just little things

Great location on beachfront with a 10-15 min walk to the shops & restaurants , staff were lovely and happy to recommend places to eat. I had a room with seaview and balcony which was great as the weather was good for most of my stay. The room was a good size with comfortable bed, dressing gown and slippers, tea & coffee provided, with nice en-suite bathroom.

A bit tired in places. Some grout missing in places on bathroom floor tiles. Some of the brickwork on the outside was crumbling just by window in breakfast room. Could do with a freshen up outside. But these minor things didn’t affect our stay.

It’s abit dated but did the job for a nights stay

The location was good to the centre, about 15 minute walk. Had a balcony room which was clean and comfortable. Micheal on the front desk was very helpful and polite

Room 207 can only comment on this the fan in bathroom didn’t work so bathroom got very steamy and wet, shower wasn’t very powerful.

Lovely hotel beach front location near the pier just over 10 min walk to the lanes. Room was spacious and clean nice and quiet as we were on the back. Coffee and tea making facilities in room

A little tired

Although the hotel is a little tired it’s in an excellent location with friendly & helpful staff and our room was very clean & comfortable. We stayed in room 401 which is on the fourth floor, accessed by a lift. It might not be something you are worried about but we loved the fact that you could open the windows for fresh air as we have stayed in hotels which are stifling and stuffy as the windows don’t open.

On our arrival one member of staff was unfriendly and grumpy. We were half an hour early and apologised. He said the rooms weren’t ready although the cleaners were clearly leaving as we got there. The property is a little dated.

Room needed some tlc, curtains were hanging off. View of the fire escape. Shower did not work sufficiently well to take an adequate shower. Water trickling out of it. Had I been staying any longer I would have asked to move although I understand the hotel was full so probably would not have been able Tom

It was clean, good location and on the sea front. Staff were exceptionally friendly.

The showers were a lot louder than I was anticipating and I was worried it would disturb the rooms nearby, but they were powerful and worked well! The hotel is 3* as it does look a little older/tired here and there but it was great for our stay.

The reception staff were lovely and really helpful. The hotel had a small lift which was great as we were on the 4th floor. Everything was tidy and neat, and the room had a great offering of tea/coffee/biscuits/sweets. The hotel is about a 15/20 min walk from the centre of Brighton but we were able to get Ubers easily when we needed.

Quaint, traditional hotel, lovely large room with beautiful sea view. Really friendly and helpful reception staff. Everything that we needed, felt very homely, nice refreshments tray and clean, comfortable bed. Great location, close to beach, pier, shopping, cafes, restaurants, bars and clubs.

The only thing I would recommend was a blind in room 117. The view from the window was the inside of building/like an enclosed courtyard. Although others were probably not able to see in as a female staying on her own, I kept the curtains closed.
