Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe only downside was that the evening meal we ordered the pasta was not what was on the menu and we were not informed until the meal came and no Samphire that should have been on the meal. However we were offered an alternative which we accepted. The chef should have informed the waitresses in our opinion.
Breakfast great. The location of the hotel was fantastic.

United KingdomStaff were rushed and didn't interact with guests very much. Parking had to rush out to change the disc on the car. At breakfast, staff were clearing away before we'd finished breakfast, so we felt in the way despite still being in the time set for breakfast.
Central location. Lovely rooms, comfortable large bed. Classical music on radio. Reasonable breakfast included.Lovely character building. Breakfast all local produce and freshly cooked. Rooms very clean.

United KingdomThis place is a bit a hidden gem. I'd paid a similar price the previous night for a very basic and tired room in another pub. Here, the rooms were plush and tastefully decorated, and the staff were very friendly. Couldn't be more central too. Just a shame Richmond uses it's centre as a car park, as these aren't really things of beauty

United KingdomThe only fault I can say is that there is no pay meter parking, which is right outside the hotel which is a shame . The hotel does provide a 2 hour slot which you have to change every two hours... Other then that I can not fault this place at all
I can not fault this place at all. I came up from Birmingham with my brother to stay for 2 days for my cousins wedding . Staff were very welcoming and helped us with the local taxi services as we would be getting back late. The food there was very nice and fresh. The room was very nice and spacious, but the bet topped it off and was massive and very comfy! I missed missed one morning breakfast, but on the last day, I made sure I woke up early to get it. The produce they use for the full English was very nice and everything came freshly cooked. With a nice variety of breads, tea and coffee, your fruits, and more.. I would highly recommend this place if you're in the Richmond area for sure. It is a shame we didn't get the explore the area more on such a short stay.

Hotel was lovely. Staff very welcoming and professional. Breakfast was fantastic. Location perfect. . Bedroom decor was lovely.
