My room (5) was directly above the main bar and extremely noisy until closing time on Saturday night! But I don’t think the other rooms had the same problem. That was the only criticism I have of an otherwise really nice stay; and it was a lovely room apart from that.

When we got there, it was extremely hot. The radiators were on although it was approx 20 degrees outside. Later, there was some concert/karaoke outside so there was loud music playing till late hours. I was informed I could order an earlier breakfast if needed. When I requested it, I was told it's impossible so we left without the breakfast.

We weren't entiry sure the room had been cleaned. We arrived quite a bit earlier than the eta,but did say we would look around the area for a couple hours. But they said they would just check the room a d book us in. However the bin was full and there were quite a few hairs on the floor and in the bed. We were just hoping they were from the person that made the bed😬 The toilet was very slow draining

We just thought it was the room shown in the pictures,We didn't know about the glamping pods,but actually a great asset espe ially for young families who worried about noise of children upsetting other guests. Breakfast had a good choice

Very little sound proofing and the bar and restaurant were quite noisy. Booking a table in the restaurant didn't seem to make a difference, we were lucky each evening that there was a table available when we went down despite checking each afternoon that we had a booking.

Excellent location, friendly staff. Food nice. Easy access to Lake Vrynwy and two interesting castles close by.

Bedrooms were not serviced during our stay, which was not a problem till we ran out of toilet paper. My husband gave key to young lady asking for a toilet roll before we went out, but when we got back at about 11.00pm we could;d access hotel but not our room as had no key. Had to wait for someone to come down and they didn't have access to keys. eventually got key for room but no toilet paper.

food was excellent. mostly service was excellent, though breakfast on the final morning was a little slow. accommodating to our early breakfast first 2 days.

Cheese board lacked imagination. No juice or cereals at breakfast.

There was nothing we didn’t like. It exceeded our expectations.

Nice country pub, friendly local feel. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. Beautifully done. The food in the restaurant was amazing. Gastro pub type. Venison wellington was delicious. The mac and cheese was made with black bomber cheese, came with a poached pear, walnuts and was served in a smoked cloche. Really good. The breakfast choices are very good and all fresh. The staff were brilliant. Very friendly and attentive.

A lovely location. staff were friendly and helpful, the food was exceptional and worth the visit alone. we went there to visit friends in the village but will return for a longer break as such a lovely place to stay.

Whilst it was comfortable the room was very hot and I felt that the cost of £120 was too much for the room.

the B&B was well situated for where we needed to be and they had obviously done a lot of work to upgrade the rooms etc which were lovely.

At check in kept waiting for 10 minutes for some reason. When in the room we were informed that they had a music festival on that night and will be loud till 1am, is that OK? Well not really but what can we do about it now. Bin had rubbish in that wasn't ours, towels looked like they had been used and not washed. People talking loud outside the room at 2am

Spacious, comfy very clean room, with large ensuite. Great full Welsh breakfast. Cheap beer too 😃. Free on site parking, which is always a bonus. Attentive staff

No hot water in the pod , had to use different room to have a shower with 3 kids in tow . Made it really hard work. Pod needed a good clean to was re cleaned when advised but dusty and still problems remained
