Didn't like having to use the lift to get to reception check in. Convoluted route in and out thereafter with multiple staircases only one of which that was the 'proper one'

Room was well laid out if dark, very little natural light. Ensuite clean and tidy.

I was in room 18 at the back and found getting to it up and down small stairs with a large suitcase very difficult.

Hard to climb stairs with luggage.

Lication was excellent for all the historic locations in town. Front desk staff helped move our luggage up the steps and called for a cab on the day we left.

It was a comfortable stay in a good sized room and reasonably priced, and overall very enjoyable, and a great location for parking and seeing Salisbury city centre

Room 206 has a noisy extractor fan in close proximity outside below the window, which does not switch off until after 2300..

I cannot think of anything. (Maybe just instructions for air conditioner/heater, but easy enough to find a suitable personal setting. For some people the stairs are quite steep & narrow, but there is a lift.

Single room, including the bathroom, was large and very well equipped.. Shower was over the bath (not suitable for some maybe) and was a large rainfall type. I cannot think of anything that I might have needed which was not provided; iron, hairdryer, kettle & hot drink sachets, bottle of water... Staff were very obliging and helpful. Location on road one way to Rail Station (walkable) and very short walk to city the other way. Wetherspoons downstairs for inexpensive drinks and food.

Kings Head Inn Wetherspoon. I like everything. The only thing for not being able to deal with the air conditioner. It was a bit confusing. Though it was my fault, I should ask for help from the staff. The staff there are excellent.

I enjoyed staying at The Kings Head Inn Wetherspoon, the staff assistance was excellent. The only thing that bothered me was a bit of noise during the night when I opened the window, which disturbed my sleep. a part of that episode everything was perfect.

The long winding stairway. Elevator only to reception

Was with disabled father in-law, was then given a room up a winding flight of stairs, when booking we was ot asked about any disabled access. He struggled getting up and down and then had to have tea in his room.

When we arrived we asked to check out bags until check-in time. This is a courtesy that most hotels provide guests. We were told to ask at the pub. The people at the pub were reluctant to check our bags although they did agree to it. I heard them say they wouldn't be taking any more bags that day.

It's a beautiful historic building by the river in a great location close to the cathedral in the center of town.
