Only small things, such as poor lighting - a second bedside light and a style that made it possible to read in bed would have been helpful, and two bulbs in the other lighting were missing.

Warm welcome from a very helpful lady, attractive room, plenty of tea, coffee etc., comfortable bed, good value for money.

The decor a little dated, but on the other hand, it added to the feeling of authenticity and charm.

The staff and community were friendly. and authentic. Helpful but not intrusive service. Flexible, for example, on checking out time. Staff always had time for you and didn't rush their replies. Really refreshing!

good stay with just a minor suggestion for improvement. the carpet could use an upgrade to something newer.

The bathroom/shower really needs sorting. The shower head didn’t attach to the rail so we had to hold it. Some of the tiles and the sealant was either cracked or discoloured. No hairdryer in room where one was advertised. None of this ruined our stay so we didn’t feel the need to complain or ask for anything.

Location was great and the staff were all lovely. Bed was very comfy and room was warm.

The keys got stucked in the front door, luckily a lady was there to help. The floor is all wobbling and not straight. The carpet is very old and not really clean. The room was cold and it was impossible to heat control the heating. The shower wasn't hot enough and very noisy. Very poor lighting.

Very close to the city center and 15 min driving from Stow-on-the-Wold which was actually our first destination the day after.
