There was almost nothing to dislike... Excellent facilities and a beautiful hotel. My only, and I mean only dislike/moan would be that the pillows were way too hard and therefore too high for a great night's sleep... Possible answer to this would be to offer a choice at the point of booking?

Everything except the pillows.. Beautifully put together surroundings, great use of colour, very comfortable, excellent bathroom facilities and associated product... Just a massive well done to the original design team and then the current staff

The en suite was cold despite the heating being on as there was no double glazing, only an old sash window. Wonderful retention of character but the trade off is a significant draught in the winter!

The location is perfect. The room was lovely and comfortable with a large en suite. We were provided with excellent quality towels and bedding, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, chocolates, water, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and cream.

Nothing I didn't like about the room. The car park is very small although there is free overnight car park up the road.

The room was fabulous. High quality everything! Lots of little touches . Chocolate, biscuits , books, radio, quality tea/coffee, fresh milk available, lovely toiletries. Staff lovely and friendly. Perfect .

These a minor points, but the coffee at breakfast was not great and in the bathroom in my room I felt there could have been some hooks for hanging things either on the back of the door or on the wall.

The only fault would be that the cleaning staff starting coming round at 07:00 and were quite loud and noisy.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The decor beautiful in the restaurant and the room. The room was stunning and loved the extra little touches of a rubber duck in the bath and the chocolates alongside coffee machine and selection of teas and coffee. Comfortable and relaxing.

I had, again, the Henry VIII suite. This is the second time now, and I could not be happier. It is a truly remarkable room, and I love it!

There was no water, no heating and no breakfast , through no fault of the hotel, Thames Water had a major breakdown! So the whole area was without water Not what I expected , and I think I am entitled to a reduction as I did notvget what I paid for, ie water , heating and food!

. The staff were friendly and did their best to make my visit a good one, I cannot praise Cat and Di enough , so in spite of the problems it was a good visit! They did everything to make me comfortable .

Breakfast costs extra but was absolutely delicious. Katheryn at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. Room is very comfortable and very well decorated. Right in the centre of the high street.
