Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainCrammed too many people especially with the triple story bunk beds. Had a really loud snorer in my room that disturbed everyone's sleep and ruined my stay to be honest but nothing the hostel can do. Believe they need another toilet at least for the guys as people where waiting. Also need curtains for the shower as i felt uncomfortable to shower since their was no curtains.
Great location right next to next to Anfield Stadium! Staff was really hospitable and kind, allowing me to check in early before the game to drop off my bag. Bed and facilities where clean. Overall good value for money as it is quite cheap and in a good location especially if going for the game.

If you're here for a football game and want a local experience, this is perfect. Fairly quiet, easy-going guests. Friendly and helpful cleaning staff.

United StatesThe bunk beds in the dorm weren't very comfortable. Our floor only had one toilet and shower for everyone to share. minimum 8+ people. The check in process was a little odd but neither of those were deal breakers
The location was amazing, a 5 minute walk to the nearby venue. The pub downstairs was fun, the staff was very friendly.

United KingdomI have to share a bathroom plus sleep with a room with strangers (to be expected) but overall it's alright.
Dirt Cheap, crazy fast wi-fi Like Seriously I downloaded my new Darksiders Warmastered Edition game at the time on my laptop on steam and the peak speed was around 115MBps (No Joke) and the game's Storage was around 36GB (if I remember correctly). Plus bed's comfy and plenty of shops are close to me.

AustraliaLimited towels each day in bathrooms. The kitchen was very small and fridge was only a mini fridge so with everyone using it there was no room for anything. Only one spoon to use in the drawer. No common room with TV or even a couch where you could relax. The doors where very hard to close and had to slam them to get them to close properly.I guess it is mainly used for game days with Anfield Stadium being so close.
Good location close to Anfield Stadium and 10min walk to Goodison Park. Local bus stop at end of the street. Great helpful staff as we hadn't received entry codes when we arrived and they were able to assist on the phone. The bedroom was a good size and not too hot.

United KingdomTriple deckers. Not comfortable to climb to the upper third bed and no railings on bed to guard you in case you fall. Very small fridge which was full with no space to put milk. There was only one toilet for each gender which we had to queue for in the morning and no launge or table to do some work in the evening.

United StatesCouldn't leave my luggage a lil early on my first day there so had to lug my luggage downtown to have someone watch it in the meantime.
It's amazing what they've crammed into a small space. The 'kitchen' is super tiny, but the shared mini fridge and ameneties are awesome to use. Great location, the first night was a little more, but the following night were nice and cheap (which is appropriate for the facilities). I really appreciated this place since I needed just a place to lay my head and leave some gear while exploring. It did the trick. Also felt very safe.

United KingdomMore info, about do's and don't,displayed prominently on walls, especially about being quiet and respect the fact that some people have to be up very early, for work, like I was,in this instance. I also did not have a towel, and did not know who to ask,no member of staff, left my brief stay, without a shower!
Unfortunately I didn't get to try the breakfast,I may have missed that info, was not made aware of this as there was no member of staff there to tell me,otherwise I would have.Bed was the most pleasing aspect of the stay, along with the proximity to my place of work.I did not think that there was enough notices of thinking of others, and not disturb them, talking outside of the dorms late at night.

FranceThere was no one around to help with the check in process so was stuck outside for a bit before I had to call them to get the codes/ access to the rooms. the doors creak a lot and the room I stayed in was right next to the kitchen so the light of the kitchen kept going on and off which was really disturbing.
It's close to the anfield stadium and that was the only reason I booked this accommodation.
