Good communication and warm welcome from Iris & Paul. House was immaculate and warm. Iris showed me to my room and showed me where everything was and we had a nice chat. I would definitely stay there again when in the area.

Personally there was nothing to dislike about staying here.

Breakfast, there was an excellent choice of cereals, fruit, fruit juice, breakfast bars, pain au chocolat. Good selection of teas and coffees, fresh water, juice and milk daily which was kept in small fridge in the room. Extra bonus of mini cheddars, biscuits and nuts. This was the perfect location for me to enable me to catch up with friends, which was the objective of my stay. Iris and Paul were very welcoming, even offering me a lift to the station or into town if required. I was able to come and go as I pleased and my privacy was respected at all times. Would highly recommend.

Warm welcome by hosts Iris and Paul on arrival, who were friendly and informative throughout my stay, especially about what to do and where to go. A summary page was also available to reference in the room. The Room itself was very comfortable and clean, with towels, WiFi, TV, fridge and kettle facilities. A complete range of tea, coffee, cereals, and snacks, including fruit were provided, which I thought was beyond what I expected. Although not an ensuite, a separate bathroom with shower was designated for the room, with a dressing gown and slippers. Great value for money, and I would definitely recommend. Don’t be hesitant about the lack of an en suite. The private adjacent bath/ shower room was absolutely fine.

Iris and Paul couldn’t have done more to make me welcome. The room was very comfortable and spotless with everything you could possibly need, and more. Continental breakfast served in the room was a feast of cereals and fruit.

The welcome was extremely good Iris and Paul made us feel at home straight away. We unpacked showed then went out for something to eat. Had keys to get back in. It was really lovely. Everything you could possibly need was there. Even dressing gowns and slippers and toiletries. On the room there were tea and coffee and fruit teas and snacks and biscuits. Milk in the fridge and bottled water. Fantastic couple running it. They even carried our bags upstairs. So friendly. Great breakfast, cereal, yogurt, fruit, toast,pain au chocolat. Would recommend to anyone, intend to return. 100 out of 10.

The couple who run this place are just lovely, full of warmth and very accomodating. They provided helpful directions to the property and to points of interest in town. They got all of the little things right and it just made me very happy. They gave me orange juice and milk as well as 3 kinds of water and a selection of fruit, plus various teas and coffees. It goes beyond what you'd expect in most hotels and it felt like a very personal touch. The house is in a quiet area, but not too far from the centre so it's an easy walk. The guest room is spacious and has a lock if you want to be private (I didn't use it but it's a nice feature). Plenty of parking space.
