The only thing really was how much light comes into the room early in a morning. I struggle to sleep and unfortunately from half 4 onwards I was awake. Not sure what you could do because I know you are limited buy the age/grade of the coach house

The breakfast was lovely, cooked very well and was presented good. The location was great and the carpark was just over the road which is always a bonus. The room were gorgeous with the open beems and layout was good. It was good to see that they could incorporate ways to help the planet without compromising the grade 2 listed building.

there are a couple of annoying beams, especially the one in the toilet when do reach the loo you need to bend yourself and stretch back again. if you forget about it during the night - you may get in trouble!

the room was very clean, the bed were comfortable. Everything in general very good for a sleepover.

was not keen on the spiders, soundproofing isn't great (old building, so that is understandable)

cosy, comfy, great location, large parking area, bar and restaurant looked very relaxing and tidy, friendly staff

The rooms are a bit quirky due to the age of the building so the floors were a little uneven - but obviously this cannot be rectified due to the age of the propert.

Stairs are a little uneven going up to the room. But understand it is an old building. The gap between the beds. (Queen bed)

Loved that the bathroom was a little separate from the room. Clean, comfortable and could really relax. Staff were very attentive, friendly and polite. Lovely breakfast.

Unfortunately the plumbing seems to need a fair bit of work, the toilet and the shower both were blocked my first morning there so I had to move rooms. My first room also didn’t seem to have been checked that morning, as the beds were covered in debris that had come through the window - no issue but just don’t expect to have to clean the bed before getting in to it.

The property is a gorgeous 16th century coaching inn that the owners have done a great job of keeping it’s history alive. The staff are great and really happy to help.

We appreciate the building was old and quirky but there could have been a few more touches, like curtains not blinds and nicer headboards. The bathroom was spacious, lots of hot water but quite tired.

Chose not to have breakfast but the evening meal was very good. The guys working there were brilliant, always happy and very helpful.

Due to the age of the building, in the height of summer the bedroom was incredibly hot. There were fans, but they didn't make a lot of difference, So although the beds were comfortable, the room temperature was not, and so we did not get a good sleep.

Lovely little hotel, the family room was well laid out, and it was a good, fairly quiet location. The food was very good, quite expensive but I think that is more to do with the area than the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was only served 9-10am, too late for me and most people. the room is on the main road with fast traffic going past all night which did disturb my sleep a lot.
