Room views were stunning but feel the suite lacked finer details. Lots of cobwebs by tv and the shutter blinds did not close properly by the bed so could not have window open other wise blinds would blow open

Parking was a slight walk up a hill from the hotel which I personally found ok but the tarmac at the entrance/exit needs re-surfacing.

Gorgeous location, great for lots of walks and sight seeing. Bedding was really soft, the mattress was very soft, maybe abit too soft for some. I thought the Half board was great value and the food was great quality.

Minor point; there were no tea bags in the room

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Having visited the Haford many times before for tea and cake this was the first overnight stay. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The half board evening meal was delicious with a broad choice from the menu. Pre dinner drinks in front of the cosy wood-burner very welcome after a fairly typical rainy Elan Valley visit. Breakfast was delicious. Will definitely be back!

We loved everything about our stay at The Hafod and look forward to visiting again soon. The hotel has the most stunning location and views, with the waterfalls at the doorstep. The staff were warm and welcoming and wanted to make our stay as wonderful as possible. The bed linens were crisp and clean with puffy duvets and the huge batht tub was perfect after a long day of hiking. Don't miss Sunday Roast! Everything here is top notch.

The car park for the hotel is up a steep hill. Any parking on the road outside the hotel is taken up by people calling for food or a drink. Whilst the hotel can’t do much about this it makes it very difficult to drop off luggage.

The staff in this hotel were lovely. They were cheerful and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

All was good! Expectations exceed

I had an incredible stay at The Hafod. The facilities were very nice, modern and comfortable, a perfect place to relax and enjoy a good time. The food was delicious, you could taste the quality of each ingredient on the plate served, cooked perfectly and a beautiful presentation from starters to desert. The staff was very respectfull, caring and friendly too. Definitely recommend The Hafod! Thank you!! 😊

2 words - ‘Exceptional hotel’! Thank you so much to all staff members. Chef - his cooking is on another level, tenderness of the kofta, trout dish made to perfection, fish and chips just the right amount of grease. Friendliest staff throughout. Now let’s talk cleaniness, to someone like me who is obsessed with it, 10/10 would be the right evaluation for our room. Immediately after entering the room you get that freshness feeling! Decor - absolutely stunning and cosy inside the bedroom, and let’s not forget to mention bathroom which is modern stylish well maintained. Highly recommended 😊 once again thank you all for making our stay super pleasant!
