parking charge was unclear. we paid for 24hrs but should have only paid for 3 hours. the difference is 10 pounds or 3 pounds.

The birds ,all night, and the leaving on of the outside floodlights. These could have gone off maybe after midnight. To help with sleep.

You are charging West End prices and not quite meeting West End standards. Your lift needs better maintenance.

No WiFi at all and can’t connect phone to internet which was disappointing was told because of location and they need there internet for the card machine was very expensive £22 for fish n chips

Outside area was filthy. Hotel very dated could do with a overhaul refurb. Certain areas in the hotel smelt a bit foisty/damp food overpriced though. Breakfast basic but adequate.

The views were fantastic. Best location. All rooms look onto the sea fantastic. Staff were great and more than helpful. Restaurant was nice and staff member who was serving at the bar also serving and taking meal orders what a lovely lad.room was nice and clean.

Showers to tight to get into (I'm 6'2" and 27 stone my wife is 5' and slightly but neither of us could get in.staff swapped us to twin room with bufold shower.problem solved

The way the rooms have been built in to the cliff is very ingenious although our room with a double bed was a little bit cramped and some of the decoration was looking a bit jaded. We also booked an evening meal and although the food was very nice it was overpriced for what it was.

The location was the main reason for booking the Grotto especially at this time of year when the sea birds are coming home to nest.

The mattress was showing signs of wear and could feel the springs. The overhead shower had been disconnected, I think due to the size of the shower cubicle. The taps needed attention, the left was so, so hot and the right tap, which should have been cold, was hot until you ran the tap for a few minutes.

Breakfast was fine. We were very happy with the choices

The entry was a little off putting when we pulled up…but I’m sure a little refurb in the future is probably being planned.

Great location on the wild North Sea coast. Our room was gorgeous with 180° views of the ocean and cliffs. We had a lovely meal downstairs in the ‘cave’ restaurant, meeting a lovely young man serving, who’d been to Australia recently. we enjoyed a blustery walk along the beach and cliff top before leaving! This was a highlight of our 4 week trip to England/UK!

Outside areas dirty , tables not cleaned after eating, g&t served without additions and in wrong glasses. Lobster dry and not much meat ..needed garlic butter on

Room was a little bit tired but biggest disappointment was the breakfast option (toast or cereal).......a nice English breakfast would have been perfect.
