Main light not working which should have been checked prior to arrival. Also there was supposed to be a light above the bed but no bulb. Windows need replacing. I needed earplugs to avoid the noise from outside

With the unexpected heat the room was baking as no air con , I should’ve packed a fan or asked for one , but we were too busy having fun and getting merry; so I would recommend a food fan if you’re visiting in the summer ! Otherwise we were very happy and will be returning next year , so it’s not even that bad a problem, just be prepared!

It was a stones throw to the tower and a few more steps to the beach !! The owners are just the loveliest people I ever ever met , the staff were amazing and very friendly!! The entertainment was great and a free buffet on the Saturday evening was a treat !! A little seating area outside was nice and good to people watch , with a lovely view of the tower ! Great bar prices and a sweet pool table !!

The shower was very small, meaning that one of our party couldn’t access it comfortably.

Great location, room was really neat and tidy. The bar is great with entertainment on each night at the weekend. The staff were lovely, and drinks are reasonably priced.

There chunks of black stuff coming out of the cold tab, faded black stains on the hand towel was very difficult to open the bath room window and can't turn the heating down as the room was bolling and the zip on the mattress was ready to break. And the lights above the bed did not work.

Rooms definitely need an upgrade. Shower only worked once over the 3 days. The rest of the time it was freezing cold. The door on the bathroom needs fixing - didn't lock as there was no catch on it. Bedside light didn't work

Friendly and helpful staff! There is a lot of bad reviews about this place but room 39 was absolutely fine we had a little issue with heating which was resolved within 10 minutes by the man on reception desk, people need to remember that it’s not a 5 star hotel it is what you pay for, it’s clean and comfortable, I had 2 children with me and they didn’t complain about anything.

The water pressure on the shower was poor. This is the only thing i think could be improved and is a minor detail.

Great location, very close to main attractions. Clean and spacious and well looked after. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating and we could not ask more of them! Bar was very reasonable prices and food quality lovely!

We stayed for 1 night for a night at the winter gardens. Very friendly greeting upon arrival. Bedroom was a good size and bed was very comfy. Bathroom was very small and shower wasn't very warm. Good cooked breakfast. Can't fault the staff. All lovely. Entertainment on the Saturday night we were there was good and met some of the local people. Very close to the tower, winter gardens and beach. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
