We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe milk situation could of been better dealt with, terrible how a small jug of milk, was meant to last us til the following morning. If i had known that i would of bought some milk whilst we was out and about.
The green man was a nice little pub. Staff were pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was very pleasant, The room was ok. We was told on arrival, that if we needed anything for the room then just ask. I went down in the middle of one afternoon and ask for more coffee and milk for my husband and myself, as we had run out. i was given 3 sackets of coffee and a little jug of milk, and that was meant to last us til the following morning. My husband went down later on in the evening, and asked for more milk, and again he was given a small jug of milk. (Jug of milk would do two cups of hot drink, one each for 2 adults)

United KingdomBreakfast: everything had run out, mushrooms, orange juice fried eggs etc Dinner was awful, very limited menu, no gas!! 2-small pieces of curled up beef, three very small pieces of ?roast potato, cabbage, ? Carrot and leek, smothered with very lumpy gravy! £ 20.00! Drinks arrived very late.

United KingdomThe only thing I would change is I would request the rooms my family had as they were much more to my taste regarding style and size - my brother had the honeymoon suite which was stunning , our room was still lovely and great value it’s just my personal preference

Although the staff didn't initially seem that friendly they were very lovely when I went for the meal in the restaurant.

United KingdomVery bright safety/exit light above the bedroom door, that was very intrusive (I like a dark room). No doubt a requirement, but few other hotels have such a bright light when there is only one way out! Wifi information provided in the room was out of date, and by the time I'd discovered that, the pub was shut, so could not obtain correct info. Did not book in for breakfast for two reasons: the room-only rate could be cancelled, the B&B rate (which was quite a bit more expensive) was non-refundable. This seemed to be an anomaly. Also, there was no info on the website etc as to what was available at breakfast. A breakfast menu alongside the others would have been helpful.
Nice meal in the evening.
