The lift was out of service for the duration of our visit. We were initially allocated a room on the 4th (top) floor. After indicating that this was not suitable an asthmatic we were allocated a room on the 1st floor with Ocean views.

Lift was not working, we were on the third floor, my friend has a heart condition and mobility issues, it did make difficult, though the staff were wonderful and did take our luggage up and down for us in the service lift

The location was excellent and my room had a beautiful sea view. There was ample well cooked breakfasts and a good choice on the dinner menu at night. The staff in the restaurant were very efficient and meals were served quickly.

Room extremely tiny, hot, no air as unable to open window, squeaky floor boards, paint peeling off walls, toilet roll holder hanging off wall, shower not working ( shower fixed as soon as reported) lift not working, too much for my husband to walk up to the 4th floor. Pictures of room that we booked very different to what we got.

I didn't feel paying £8 for parking over night was a great deal but on street parking free if you can find a spot. Decor is a bit tired but I don't mind that. Freezing cold in Britain as always even in June and the window to my room was left open and wind blowing a hooley through, no heating so room too cold for me.

The gentleman on the brunel bar on our first night. We asked for two coffees and he couldn't be bothered to try and make them .saying the coffee machine was dirty. But we knew that there was af coffee hearn in the restaurant . He just couldn't be bothered nor said sorry.

Although the lifts were out of order - my mum managed the few steps to the first floor quite well.

Very happy with Aimee and Liam for the support in helping to make my Mums stay lovely. We were given a lovely twin room with beautiful sea view above reception. (This was a little break away for my mum after losing her husband/Dad) so it very important to me to make sure Mum had a nice time. Thank you to Aimee and Liam for the room and considing my Mums disability in avoiding her difficulties with the stairs. The restaurant team were all helpful and the food was lovely. I was very happy to have booked with this hotel! Aimee and Liam were very accommodating via email. Kind Regards to them both.

The room was a bit small, very warm, even with the window open. Needed a fan or aircon. We paid a good price. Saw it cheaper since been. Wasn't a good view was placed at the back of building not sure if that was because had our dog. Was only one night so didn't make a fuss. And floors creeky but it is old building.

Location was really good. Having parking excellent. Breakfast was very nice, good choice of food.

We were on 3rd floor and had to climb 64 stairs every time we went to our room as lift broken. No outside seating area to enjoy a drink in the sun.

Unfortunately the lift wasn't working but they did apologize for that. There was a lot of noise from motorbikes driving along the seafront on Saturday night but again, not the fault of the hotel.

The view from the room over the Bristol channel was spectacular, especially watching the sun go down. The location was brilliant - near to everything including the Grand Pier and St James street that had some lovely restaurants. The shower was powerful and the bed comfortable. The bar area was nice, with friendly staff.

Some repairs needed around door frame and repainting in some areas but it is an old building and it doesn't affect overall service and experience. Maintainence I expect, is on going to keep the character of this grand hotel

Beautiful, grand, mainly unspoilt hotel. What a treat, so glad we stayed. Lovely buffet breakfast, dinner an option and the best Seaview Ive ever had in a room!
