    Breakfast should be included

Lovely small hotel with friendly staff and an excellent restaurant. Disappointed that breakfast was not included in the high price

Strange oddities that didn’t match the overall quality: Motorway type circular toilet paper dispenser in the bathroom; tonic water only available from a multiple soda drinks flex-tap which was pretty flat due to the gas cylinder needing replacing; and sauce dispenser at breakfast similar to the type used on burger vans!

In general the quality of everything, food, furnishings throughout, service, location and tranquility.

A very good hotel that could be excellent with a few tweaks

In many ways this is an excellent hotel but it would benefit from a mystery guests report as there are some small niggling issues e.g. toilet lid wouldn't stay up, bathroom fan very noisy. Allow plenty of time for breakfast. We stayed for two days and the service at breakfast was very disorganised on both days. This was partly due to the inexperienced waiting staff but mainly the kitchen seemed to struggle with the large number of guests. However, when the food did arrive, it was excellent.

Decent size bedroom with a huge bathroom. Everything is spotlessly clean and the furnishings look fresh and new. The senior staff were very friendly and highly professional. The location feels rural although there are pubs, convenience shop nearby. If you have a car, the location is ideal for exploring the Gower pensinsula.

Difficult to walk out from the hotel at night as roads are very narrow, without footpaths and unlit. Prices in the area are generally high.

Warm welcome from the staff, comfy bed, and a very good breakfast. The barman was very charming even though we probably kept him up! Close to the Gower, fabulous area, though, see comments below

The evening meal was a disappointment, pork starter had no meat was pure fat, the steak we ordered as medium rare was well done and all very tasteless so food was a disappointment however the waiter for the evening was very polite and friendly

The hotel and it's grounds are beautifully kept. The staff and owners are all so friendly, especially Linda for whom nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable and the breakfast was fabulous. It was our 2nd stay there and we will definitely be back.

The location is a bit tricky to find from the main road. If possible, we need a better sign there.

    A comfy coastal stay

I was travelling alone and for work so this is perhaps unfair to answer. If I was traveling with my wife and going for walks along the coast, this is a fabulous place to stay. But on a works budget. the hotel food was too expensive and unknown to me until I got there, most of the pubs in the vacintiy didn't serve food on the days I was there (Mon - Wed).

The hotel was well equipped, the room was big and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. It was very close to all beaches and coves.

The shower screen didn't close properly so the bathroom floor got too wet when we showered. The blind pull was broken in the bedroom and bathroom.

Breakfast was good with lots of choice. The room was good, well presented, clean and with a large bathroom.

Nothing recorded just a great quiet hotel.

A lovely quiet hotel nestled away in the village of Bishopstown in the Gower. The bedrooms are modern and restful, providing everything you need when staying away from home. The breakfast had a vast choice a tasted great. All the staff we met were friendly and welcoming. We would use this hotel in the future.
