We would probably not stay there again because of the room size and night noises. It was clean.

There was a flashing light in the ceiling that would flash 9-10 times every minute. We did not notice it until it was dark in the room and time to sleep. Our room was above the dining room or kitchen. There was a fan noise all night. So between the light and the noise, we were ready to leave pretty early. The room rate was high and the size of the room was quite small. No room for a larger suitcase to open except on the bed. All walk areas were single file. Loved the towel warmer.

The room was ready when we got there.

The lounge looked nice, albeit the bar there was closed Diner was very good, Breakfast ok

The restaurant ( gathering place)had really slow service, with a young waitress who was borderline rude. It may be that she is new to her role, but she needed a better attitude towards her customers. The food was slow to arrive, and the quality was not good, with sausage and haggis patties like hard, dry frizzies.

The hotel is well-positioned for anyone travelling through Glen Coe. The receptionist was excellent, very friendly, and accommodating; we enjoyed our interaction with her. The young man who served breakfast was very good, he provided good service despite the slow kitchen.

    Expensive for what it is.

Nice location, close to what we needed. The room was lovely. They provided a shuttle for us on the morning of departure for a bus we needed to catch. Easy check in and nice staff.

Wish beds was more comfortable. Don't really think it is a 5 star hotel. They tried but I could see they updated the bathroom but there were paint drips in the floor

If you book through Booking.com they charge you more than £50 than the hotel rates, which is over priced to begin with and the system gives you the smallest room.

The apartment’s kitchen was extremely basic. It had a microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, basic plates, tea, coffee. But nothing else. So was not set up for cooking at all, no cooking dishes, not even salt and pepper. Difficult to clean as no washing up liquid, sponge or a bin.

We found the staff welcoming and helpful, particularly the barman. Nice food in the restaurant. The communal lounge areas seemed nice but very underused. Easy parking. Location was great for seeing sunsets over the lake. We stayed in an apartment, which was comfortable.

Rooms are far too small. Cleaning isn’t great we had some issues. Most staff lovely, but some could be more attentive. Was only contacted about the issue we had after we left and at no point before that did anyone apologise.

Location is great, rooms are modern. Food is really good.

Fabulous views and location 15 minutes walk from the orbital circuit and gateway to the stunning backdrop. Very helpful staff who are keen to assist in any way they can. The Gathering is probably best value for money but the bar is fab in between.

When I first read the reviews I was a bit worried about our booking however, this turned out to be lovely. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, the Inn itself was cozy and what you would expect in a small Scottish village. The setting was gorgeous… we underestimated how beautiful Glencoe would be, a real highlight of our trip!

The place is in a general state of shabbiness. You can see it used to be high class but now the common spaces are old, not maintained, there is a stale smell everywhere, especially on the stairs and in the corridors. From the presentation on the web it looked this was a high class elegant inn, but it is not, it is on the side of the main road. The draining in the shower did not work. The waiters were very... interesting, to put it nicely. The barman could not tell the difference between types of whisky. The dinner waiter looked like he had sampled something, dirty pants and shirt out of them. They were friendly, just not professional at all.

The rooms were comfy and clean inside. The restaurant was really very good, both at dinner and at breakfast. It was almost empty, I assume due to the high price. The food was delicious, way above what we had expected.

We liked everything about it. It was perfect for us. Not too busy feeling although the inn was full there are lots of nice living rooms and outdoor areas to sit in.

The staff was so hard working and friendly. The size of the inn made it so that you felt like you were in a homey place. Great location to hiking and strolling around the little town. Nice breakfast in the morning. Rooms were clean and comfortable!

No real negatives come to mind. The only minor issue is that there isn't a lift (we had very heavy suitcases), but that's to be expected in an old building.

Nicely furnished room, very clean, friendly staff, decent restaurant. Recommend staying here if passing through Glencoe.

The website photos are a little deceiving. It looks a lot more luxurious online! The exterior of the hotel is a little run down and the location is on a busy intersection. The breakfast took almost 50 minutes and some of it was cold when we got it.

Great location, staff were very friendly. Common areas were nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean.

We booked 1 double room for 2 adults and one small apartment for 3 adults. We were informed on arrival that the small apartment only accommodates 2 adults and that the mistake is on Booking.com's end. Fortunately there were able to accommodate us in a family room that had a double bunkbed. Rooms did not have air conditioning, and ventilation was minimal even with the window open at night- we would have loved an overhead fan. Rooms were beautifully decorated but could've accommodated a queen bed rather than a double for more comfort.

Lovely receptionist and common areas- beautiful decor, very cozy in a beautiful setting. Restaurant for dinner was very convenient and food was pretty good.
