Continual low level noise outside room - from kitchen extractor fan??

Proximity to airport and railway station. Early breakfast facilities and ease of checkout for our early flight was great. Comfortable room in old pub and staff were really helpful and polite.

Just a little more choice for breakfast would be good e.g some artisan bread, natural yogurt and fruit.

Windows weren’t able to be opened, room was quite hot at times so affected sleep,wet room as opposed to a shower enclosure so bathroom floor was quite wet after it was used

Comfortable Bed , fairly quiet good complimentary breakfast! easy access to rooms, good selection on tea tray, nice touch complimentary cookies in a bag on the door.

A slightly larger room would have been nice but was perfectly adequate for our needs.

1. All bedrooms on first floor accessed by an unusual switchback staircase, somewhat hazardous for older age group or anyone with a disability. There are grab rails but these could be improved. 2. Our room (Washington) had a wet room style bathroom, but inadequate camber in the shower partition meant water ran across the room making it slippery. A small ridge in the shower area would keep the water inclosed.

Exceeded expectations, facilities good, room clean and modern. Good restaurant menu, and staff pleasant and welcoming. Personal touches such as little gift bags with biscuits and quirky names on room doors were appreciated.

Lovely property with modern and sustainable touches. Well thought out decor, well kept and clean throughout. Good food at restaurant and unexpected Continental breakfast. Great and friendly service throughout.

We have stayed before - very happy. We were staying the night before leaving from Bristol Airport early next morning. Very handy for the airport. Unfortunately due to work commitments we arrived late into the evening which was a shame as we would have liked to have had dinner there (have before and it was very good). Would definitely stay again. Nice rooms and bathroom.

Not a fan of Nescafé

Perfect distance from airport.....left early for a flight (3am) and was still able to have breakfast. Better coffee than Nescafé would be a small improvement. The teas were delicious.

The road noise was a little loud, but we stayed on a mega hot weekend so we needed the double glazing open. With the windows shut the noise would probably been fine.

The room was very warm with no a/c and a window that couldn't open. Plus a low hum from below.

The steep winding staircase with hand rails you couldn’t get a proper hold on.

The floor in the shower cubicle was dangerously slippery & there was no handle to hold. The shower cubicle was open , so water soaked the bathroom floor which also became slippery. We asked for a bathmat but wasn’t one available so had to put a towel on the floor. No hand towels provided. Also the light over the basin wasn’t working.

Self service continental breakfast . Reasonable selection, no croissants. Hot water dispenser wasn’t easy to use. Only whole milk available. A proper toaster! Room well furnished, very clean. Traffic noise, but we knew it was on a main road. Friends joined us for an evening meal, I think they forgot us as the food took ages to arrive, but was very nice.

Room was a little tired. Only the back of entrance door to hang clothes. We were going to a wedding and had suit and shirts plus a couple of long dresses. Room very warm, too warm. Shower screen is not big enough, whole floor got wet.

Room was very warm , couldn’t get the window to stay open and when we eventually propped it open realised it was quite a noisy road . Would definately benefit from a fan .

Really lovely welcome , lots of attention to detail . Great outdoor area , good location , really good food .
