I arrived on a rainy, dark night (sounds like a bad novel entry!), so the only complaint I could have (if you can call it a complaint, more like a suggestion) would be that the house number was very hard to see. If they could put either larger numbers or a little light over the house number, that would be helpful. At least this property HAD house numbers!! GPS stopped me about 6 houses down.

It is a bit further from the city center, about 30 minutes from the center. We walked twice, the other times we took the bus. Maybe it would be nice to have a card with taxi/bus information, which I think could be quite helpful to others.

This was a really lovely cabin in the garden, the parking was easy, on the street. The cabin had everything we needed. The communication with the host was good.

The bed was comfy but squeaky and the TV must have been the smallest one I've ever seen but no big deal as we were out most of the time.

The owner, Deidre, greeted us when we arrived and showed us around. The room was well equipped but it was the little things that we noticed that just made it feel more personable like shampoo, tea, coffee and biscuits and a sewing kit. For the price, I felt it was very good value.

Because we did not have a car, we would have appreciated information on buses that serve the area. If possible, a small table inside the room would have helped.

The room was sweet and comfortable. The hostess is absolutely wonderful, welcoming, and helpful. It is an ideal location for travelers who have a car because it is approximately a 30 to 40 minute walk to the city center. Bus service is available at the end of the street (we learned that the 1a serves the area!).

Street parking is tight and the gate latch needs some attention. Difficult to operate with two hands, forget about one handed!

Of the three weeks traveling around Ireland, this was the best shower we had. Great water pressure, plenty hot, big enough to move around in and didn't leak water all over the bathroom floor! The only thing that would make it better is a shelf to put your soap/shampoo/razor on rather than the floor. The room was cozy but not too tight. Had full control of the heat so could turn it off! A couple snacks and tea/coffee provided with a kettle and toaster.

Great stay. Deirdre was in touch day before we arrived with all info on getting in which was great. Easy to find and everything we needed. Tea,coffee, snacks,a mini fridge with water and milk so all perfect. Clean, cosy and very quiet. A very good night's sleep after a long day walking around Derry. We walked into town centre in about 30mins but only £3.50 for taxi back

Myself and my partner have just stayed for two days and it couldn't have been a better stay. The host was very friendly and welcomed us to our room that was full of unexpected extra touches such as milk, chocolate and crisps. The room itself was Cody, warm and had one of the best shower pressures in a long time, will definitely be back

Finding the accommodation is a bit tricky, as it's in a tight knit neighbourhood. However, contacting the host is very easy and she's happy to help. It was also tricky to connect to the Wi-Fi, we could've asked the host for help but since we were only inside to sleep, we didn't need it anyway.

Very kind, lovely and welcoming host. A different kind of accommodation than we would usually go for, but for the low price we paid (especially for luxurious accommodations in Ireland) we definitely got our money's worth and so much more! It's a nice starting point for a weekend away and some sightseeing, there's plenty of good food available in the city center that's only a short drive away. We went to see the Giant's Causeway and Dunluce Castle during a short weekend get-away, and even got engaged! I'll never forget this trip and the accommodation definitely added to that.
