However, the premises indicated being smoke free, while we could clearly smell cigarette smoke getting in, the place. Also there was a mention of a light breakfast included in the price. There was indeed but staff present at that time seemed surprised when we asked what was on offer, but kindly made toasts for us and there were also cereals available, although just one brand. The shared toilet outside the bedroom on the floor were absolutely disgusting. The toilet bowls were dirty with excrements. One ceiling light was not working in a cubicle toilet, and there was no toilet paper left the next morning. One can expect to have always access to a clean bathroom.

There was a bar serving food, and also food being served in the dining area. The food was excellent although pricy, as seems to be the case in most places in Scotland. Staffs were friendly. The beds were very comfy and there were clean towels. However, there were no toiletries. The price for the room was very good, and the hotel was well located east of Glasgow.

A towel rack in the bathroom would help. Bathroom was not clean. Hair on floor and in shower. Super noisy being in street-front room but not much can be done about that. :)

The room wasn't clean enough the beding was unhygienic it had stains on it the pillow cases were stained and the bed was uncomfortable the room door didn't lock which good and the people that were staying on the landing were all arguing my boyfriend and I were very dispointed with it after spending 90 pounds for a deluxe suit it wasn't really up to standard if I am being completely honest I was expecting a lot better

The room we were given was large however smelled stuffy. The room was above the outdoor beer garden and we could hear the noise from outside as if it was in our room. Plus traffic noise. The bed & pillows were hard and very uncomfortable. One side of the bed was broken and it was difficult to sleep while trying to stay in the bed.

The staff were friendly. The room was above the pub which suited us as we wanted to watch the Euros.

Shower didn't work, cold, to scalding to freezing in 2 mins! Room could have done with deep clean and new beds needed.

Staff and local people were lovely , very helpful and friendly. Food was really good. Choice, quality and value excellent. Light breakfast perfect and night manager makes perfect toast! Thank you Bedding clean. Good sized carpark and our 5 motorbikes were safe Overall great value for money

Wasnt keen on shared bathroom which ran out of toilet roll. Room was dated but clean and tidy. There was a function on and our room was above it which we were not told about on arrival.

It was ok for the price, shared toilet was unusual and the shower broke on the second day. Leaky kettle in room soaked the floor, a little noisy but it's part of a pub so it was expected.

Noise from the bar was ridiculous. I don’t think that it’s acceptable to have rooms next to a night club.it’s a shame, as the room was clean and neat. I will never stay here again.

The bathroom wasnt completely clean there were marks under the toilet seat and hairs behind the door The beds were clean but not very comfortable the mattress is so thin it felt like i was lying on the bed base
