Some of the bedroom fittings need attention. Shower leaking a bit.

It had a friendly and inviting atmotshere , excellent staff and service . room was lovely and clean, food was delisious and to top it off the roman spa couples experiance was brilliant 100% reccomend.

Tea and coffee making facilities were awkward to use as in a cupboard? TV did not appear to work? ... not a big issue though but would have been if we'd been staying longer.

Not much just a couple of constructive suggestions. Larger bed in the cavendish room. Plug socket needed nearer dressing table and bath Mat or rail needed in shower

Shower was not adjustable and it leaked across the bathroom floor. Toilet seat was broken so moved when you sat on it

The decor was beautiful. Gorgeous room, very clean. Lovely bar and restaurant. Breakfast was good but wish there would have been an option for a continental breakfast.. But all in all, great stay.

The atmosphere of the hotel is relaxing as soon as you arrive and check in until you depart. It is in a quiet location with friendly staff. The dining room, lounge and bar are large and our comfortably furnished room was equipped with all we could need. We dined in each evening as the food was first class.

The bed was very squeaky every time I turned over in the night but apart from this, we couldn’t fault a thing

Honestly everything was excellent and every member of staff treated me as if I was the only guest, they should be very proud, even my beef sandwich was cooked beef joint warm and beautifully presented. The chef is soooooo good.

The staff were amazing I felt extremely cared for, the food was exceptional and Holly who came to check me out was the loveliest person, very caring and friendly. The room was beautiful, immaculately clean and the bed was very comfortable. It is in a lovely countryside setting with a small church right next to it. Wonderful experience, would definitely go again and recommend to others. Thank you for looking after me French Partridge. :)

We stayed at this lovely refurbished hotel in one of the superior rooms which was beautifully presented, spacious and comfortable. The evening meal experience starts in the bar where there is a choice of sofas or chairs to sit and chat with your brinks while your order is taken. When you food is nearly ready you move into the dining room. And we went back to the bar after we had eaten to continue our drinks and conversation after we had eaten. While unusual, this made the evening more relaxed without the feeling of waiting. There is a choice of bar food or restaurant menu. The food was delicious, and wonderfully presented. We will be returning, in fact my husband said -“ let’s make this our regular place”.
