We stayed here the night before a wedding. Arrived quite late and was starving, they don’t do food but recommended some takeaways nearby as we didn’t want to go out. Takeaway arrived as we were out getting cash and the landlord sorted it all out, gave us a call to direct us to the nearest cash point, brought plates and cutlery to the room. Service was more than 10/10 such a nice friendly place. Went downstairs for some drinks. The place was packed on a Wednesday which I think says a lot. The landlord was very excited about his Guineas printing machine that you could have any photo printed on. Obviously we have it a try! My partner said the Guinness was perfect and there was a great atmosphere.

Bit loud until about midnight, but to be expected as it's above a pub. We understood from the listing that there was parking, but on street parking was restricted so we had to park round the corner.

We had a really fantastic stay, the quality of the accommodation really exceeded my expectations for the price. Super comfy bed. High quality sheets. Nice decor and furnishings. Friendly staff. Good tea and coffee facilities in the room. Leek was also a lovely market town that we are keen to visit again. We came as it's close to Alton towers, but there is so much more to see in the area.

this was our 2nd stay. parking (in Leek generally) was a nightmare and the pub operated till later than expected (1am, 12pm and 11.45pm on. Sunday)

Would have been a bit better if we could have had an earlier check in. We appreciate it was a quick turn around, however we needed to get ready for a wedding and were slightly rushed.

The bed was really comfortable, the room was clean and the supply of milk for morning coffee was an excellent touch. It was a 2-minute walk into Leek town centre as well which was excellent.

The size of the bedroom was on the small side. My husband is 6'5" and it was a bit of a squeeze. Also the stairs up to the room are very steep.

We liked the fairly central but quiet location and the pub itself. We also liked the staff who were very friendly and helpful. We also liked being able to park right outside the property with no parking charges,

Nothing really, our room was the smallest but we were only staying for one night and super comfy

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, it was a great location and had separate entrance than the pub. Our room was clean, nicely furnished with modern and antique furniture. The bed was comfy, I loved the fresh milk in the fridge with plenty of coffee & tea bags. The best bonus was a cosy bar buzzing with locals on a Friday tea time with a selection of great beers - craft. It was perfect.

Great hospitality from Kyle & Guy. Our room was light, airy, spacious and clean. I booked one of the deluxe bedrooms, and we weren't disappointed. Our room faced the church, by the road. The bedlinen was soft and luxurious and the mattress was so comfy. We slept like logs! Would definitely return.

There was a warm welcome when I arrived, the room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and individually furnished. There was a window I could open and the heating was effective and I was able to regulate it easily.
