I had expected breakfast but that was my error in not noticing and cafe very close. Steep steps up to door. Rail would be helpful.

Fabulous decor. Great supplies - loved having the chocolate biscuits and full bottles of toiletries to use.

What a lovely place! Loved my room - super cosy, warm, full of colours and comfy bed! With lots of yummy things too;)) - tea, coffee, even hot chocolate, biscuits and a chocolate bar! The owner was super nice and friendly! There's a bus stop to the city centre right beside but I prefered to walk - some 45 minute of really nice walk!:) Felt sorry to leave!

Nothing much to report, an enjoyable stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst on a roadtrip holiday from Australia. On arrival met the host Louise who was very helpful and friendly, not only showing us our room, but also giving us helpful information. She gave us the bus timetable for number 2 bus to go straight into Bath which stops out the front. Louise also let us know of a nearby cafe that does great breakfast and coffee. Room was very comfortable for an enjoyable stay with plush bedding and everything you could possibly want….nice toiletries, even chocolate biscuits and alder berry drink. There were also multiple tea/coffee choices. Wifi worked well. Car parking is available free to guests at rear of property. We were lucky to be there on a Friday night when the bar is open and had a few drinks, meeting the lovely barmaid which we enjoyed chatting with. She also gave us helpful info for our day exploring the historic city centre. The actual bar/lounge area is great with lots of interesting things to look at. We were informed we could buy the fish and chips from across the corner and bring them back to eat in the lounge area and use the pubs plates, utensils etc so we did one night. A lovely stay at a lovely pub with great hosts. Would recommend to others wanting a nice pub stay in Bath.

Everything was fine! The only point of improvement was that for any nighttime bathroom visits, the doors are very creaky and I was very conscious of the people in the rooms either side of us!

My sister and I came here for the Jane Austen festival and the decor of our room could not have been more perfect. The lady manning the desk on the Friday night was the loveliest lady. Super friendly and accommodating. We ate fish and chips from over the road at one of the tables in the bar. It was absolutely perfect. The location is excellent too. The bus stops just over the road and couldn't have been easier. We loved everything about our stay here and will definitely be returning.

The separate bathroom meant you had to be very prepared when leaving the room, however as it is private you can leave toiletries in the room.

The check in process was delightful, the lady who greeted us was very helpful and had a bus timetable and food recommendations available to make our trip easy. The room was very colourful and cosy with tea, coffee and biscuits provided. The separate private bathroom was a short walk from our room and was very tidy with some toiletries available. There is a bus stop only 200metres from the front door with a bus only 8 mins into the town centre.

Not so keen on the taxidermy.....

Our room was huge. Well equipped with very eclectic decor. Very comfortable bed. Nice touches like the bar of chocolate and cans of cocktails. Hostess extremely friendly and helpful - great local knowledge and tips, and provided us with a bus timetable.

Did not dislike anything..we had a brilliant stay, only wish we booked longer.

Beautifully presented room with en -suit roll top bath. Everything was thought of with the ample tea making facilities, including hot chocolate and lattes. lovely thought with the chocolate biscuits and bar of chocolate on the bedside table. Safe parking. Down stairs there is a wonderful exotic bar with friendly staff. This gem of a B&B was situated only a couple of miles from Bath City centre with a bus stop right outside the door with a regular cheap bus service 7 days a week. Unfortunately the bar is currently only open on Fridays which actually was our check in day...Brilliant. Would definitely stay here again.......

    Nothing

Louise the owner was great. She wellcame us and provide us a map, a bus schedule to go to the center and come back and recomendations to where have a good breakfast. The bus stop is just in front on the door, and going to the center was very easy and close. A very quiet neighborhood to have a good sleep. You could also bring your dinner and have it in the pub downstairs. It has no music, so it was not a problem at all. On top of that, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a chocolate bar in the room. If I go to Bath again, I will probably repeat.
