Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United Kingdomit was a very clean comfortable room in a very central location for exploring Rye but quiet. The closest carpark was a bit of a climb up to the property but being RIngo was easy to renew for the length of our stay and there was parking on the road outside for two hours if you were lucky or overnight if you timed it well. The breakfast was fantastic - very tasty and filling. and the staff were great.

United KingdomThe half an hour window to have breakfast (9:00 - 9:30am) before having to queue for a table (when cafe opened to the public) was at odds with a relaxing stay. The small window means you can’t sleep in if you want to be guaranteed a table at breakfast without a wait. The room was very hot and only a small noisy fan was provided. A large and modern fan, or air-conditioning is needed. Given the heat, we had to open the windows to sleep and it was very noisy (as expected on a main street). Do not recommend the basic room (which is street facing) for light sleepers. Mattress and pillows not great quality.
Really easy check in and check out process. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location in the main street and a short walk to the train. Breakfast was delicious and served very quickly. Nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room. Lovely toiletries and fresh towels each day.

HungaryThe window opened only a little. Would have been good to have it all the way opened to let the air in. Not a big issue though and at least it prevented 2 seagulls to come in.
Cleanliness. Size of the room. Easy check in and out. Good breakfast its nice that the restaurant serves only the room guests in the first 30minutes to avoid long waiting, but still giving the option to eat during the whole brunch service. Overall quiet place felt like a private flat in a big house.
