Somewhat stern and unsmiling breakfast host with nutter at the bar.

Big room, grand architecture. Lots hot water, big bed.

Had two different rooms 107 and 209 both singles but 107 was like a sauna and when opened the window it had all the fans for the Pub so very noisy also right next to the fire door that was in constant use and slammed every time someone went through it 209 was on the next floor up directly above 107 so the fans we a bit quieter but had that same issue with the slamming fire door which again seemed to be opened and slammed every hour during the night. Won't stay there again.

In central location and as always good food and cheap drinks

The hotel was indeed of some things to be fixed, like the cyling on the second floor, which was leaking water each time it rained and had been like this for many years. As a result had buckets scattered around. This was a shame that this listed building was not being looked after. The cellent around the shower was in need of replacing as it was causing damage to wall and skirting. And was also moldy.

    Good location, comfortable bed.

The hotel has no car park which makes it hard if you drive there

Tle location was a good base to tour the local region. We were able to visit Lymouth in Devon and Wells Cathedral all inn our 3 day break.

Quite noisy at night after closing. Had room on front and was woken by noisy patrons leaving and chatting outside was only for a short period but a little frustrating.

1st room we had was very small and dark and on 2nd floor too many stairs But the staff were very nice and changed it to first floor as we both struggled with stairs … no lift .. our second room was 100% on first one Large and comfortable what you need for a 4 day stay Friendly staff.

Things outside the hotels control - the loud sweary drunk outside for an hour in the small hours and the supermarket delivery of loudly clanging cages being loaded/unloaded before 5am in the morning.

Staff really friendly and gave excellent service. Room was clean and airy.

The rooms were comfortable but pretty outdated. It was also really hot on the top floor, a fan was provided which was a lifesaver for getting some sleep. Also, as we had the window open due to it being very warm, it was a bit loud as we could hear people outside the pub when trying to get to sleep.

Good budget hotel in Minehead, and good value breakfast and meals it being a Weatherspoons.

Very dated room, decor brown. Remote control of TV had all the numbers and symbols rubbed off and looked as if it had stains over it. Had to keep window open all night due to how hot it was and very noisy until early hours and again at 4am. Our room was at the front of the hotel.

Great location, Shower super powerful, spacious room
