We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomNot enough items on the tea tray. Only 2 teabags and 2 pots of milk! Hardly any sugar either. A nice tea tray makes all the difference to a stay. We like a cuppa before bed & at least 2 in the morning to get going! No hairdryer in the room.
Lovely comfortable bed with crisp sheets and lovely pillows. Great location for town and beautiful being next to the river. Free parking Nice big clean shower and bathroom.

United KingdomWhen we arrived the direction to the reception was not easily noticeable, which made us a little uneasy with all the construction around. Although the room was clean, the walk in shower let down the stay. The power of the shower was non existent and when we tried to call for further pillows no staff were present on the Saturday night either in person or by phone.

United KingdomStill being refurbished and heating didn’t work in the room. They did supply 1 small radiator they had from reception. The following morning the heating came on. The receptionist said it was probably fixed in the morning because the maintenance chap doesn’t work Mondays. I do hope there is no major problems in the future on a Monday!

United KingdomAs mentioned it is being renovated. The exterior was a bit shabby as was the car park. We knew that when we booked so it didn’t spoil our stay.
I thought the position was excellent. I loved eating breakfast while having the view across the field. Hopefully the renovation work currently in progress will include the exterior and allow the main river frontage to be used.

Service! We were welcomed in the reception by Seetsa. What a lovely, warm and yet professional welcome it was. If it wasn’t for Seetsa I would give this hotel much lower rating. He went above and beyond to help. Seetsa is so professional and polite and his attention to detail is exceptional. That’s what we need in this country, especially in hospitality industry- professionalism with some personal touch and lovely manners. Thank you for everything, Seetsa!

United KingdomRoom was clean but smelt musky like pets had stayed in there Room was on the road and noisy with people walking past close to the window. I had previously contacted the hotel by email regarding the free upgrade offered if we booked direct and was advised there were no upgrades to twin rooms so decided against cancelling and rebooking. When we arrived was offered an upgrade to the room for £25 as apparently there are better twin rooms but we declined! The hotel seemed to be fairly empty so if they had a better room why not just let us have one anyway. We stay in the area quite regularly so always looking at places to stay but this could have been better.
