The water pressure made a poor shower. The towels were so thin ( threadbare)I ended up drying myself on a t-shirt.

Pleasant and helpful staff. Clean. Comfy room. Great view from seafront room. Sat on our large balcony with 2 small tables and 4 chairs (that was accessed from the room) to listen to the lookielikie ‘Ultimate Coldplay’ band playing at the Bandstand opposite. Good fun.

We were told the bar would be open late on the Saturday night but it was closed before 11.30pm. Also the sink in the bedroom bathroom was extremely slow to drain.

Interior decor is a bit outdated and the bathroom was small and could do with some refurbishments. Breakfast period is short and we were not told at check-in that reservations for breakfast were needed. But staff did quickly resolve the issue and we were able to have a lovely warm breakfast in the end. But would recommend to book breakfast in advance!

Good location, close to the station and the seafront/pier. Beds were comfortable and staff were friendly. Really good value for money!

Couldn’t lock my room - found a cleaner who helped me but she struggled a little with the lock. Arrived for breakfast at 9 am when it runs until 9.30 but was told there were no sausages left (no offer to cook more)

If the curtains had blackout lining it would be better to block out the early morning sun. The upper sash window didn't lower so the only fresh air was through the lower sash window which was limited to prevent seagulls coming in.

Staff were very good. Checking in was an issue with Booking.com but staff sorted that really quickly. The bar and restaurant staff were also really good.

The shower flow was excellent, but the shower head didn't create an umbrella result (minor issue)

Perhaps a fan in the room will be needed in high summer. Bathroom a little old, and small. All plugs only at floor level.

Daily maid service, friendly staff, great location, quiet. Bag storage available. Room decor a very nice plush quality. Good wifi, with password given on first page of welcome booklet!

(1) Room lighting very poor. Overlooking inner part of building. (2) When booking no offer for room including brreakfast so paid for breakfast extra. Not worth what we paid. (3) Breakfast choice poor and limited. Limited poor choice of cereal, no cheese.Bread only 2 choice.Cooked breakfast also limited choice. No mushrooms, no boiled eggs. Fruit only tinned grape fruit and tinned prunes. No fresh fruit. Yogurt only plain. Breakfast needs improving.

It wasn't obvious how to work the shower and there was no reception staff after 10 pm to help. However the barman helped as a gesture of goodwill.

It wasnt easy to work out the shower and there was no reception staff when I went to ask. However the barman out of goodwill took a look and was able to show me.

The reception lady was really helpful and very pleasant. The room and bathroom was super clean and my room was cleaned which I didn't expect. I was able to open the window which helped keep it cool.

The lift is tiny, and accessible toilet would be better if the door opened outwards, because the space is so tight.
