We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Lovely 17 century inn. Location was ideal. The room was large double with four poster bed and a single room within the suite including a shower room. The breakfast was very good plenty of choice and well organised. Eat in the restaurant both nights of stay with good choice of food including a specials menu each day. The food was very well priced and portions were just right. The staff were very friendly too. .

Great hotel, with attached bar and restaurant. Great location in Lynton close to the top of the cliff lift linking with Lynmouth. 10 minutes to Valley of the Rocks, and perfect for anyone walking the Southwest coastal Path. Good food and friendly staff.

All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - and lovely to just be able to go downstairs for a hearty meal and pint in the pub. The room was very comfortable and quiet (we were above the restaurant). I would definitely stay again.

This place is outstanding. The location is amasing with stunning views. What was so good about this hotel however is the staff who make you feel very welcome. Its nice to find a little gem like this where customer service is in their DNA.

United KingdomThe only tiny thing was the shower - it's not the best but there is a bath in the room we stayed in so could have used that instead.
All staff are very friendly and helpful. Very welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was great. Good selection and cooked options served promptly on hot plates! Our room was a good size (room 14) and good value. We always eat here whenever we stay in Lynton as the food is great and the prices are very reasonable, but this was the first time we have actually stayed at The Crown. Will definitely stay again!
