Perhaps we should have ordered fresh milk for our room instead of the usual cartons. Shower OK, would have preferred it more powerful.

Nice, spacious room. Lovely breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely to sit out on the terrace with table service outside. Staff were able to book us a taxi for later that evening.

Only minor niggle and it was for us as we were only staying one night was the TV, when we retired for the evening we put it on to wind down and you could only get a couple of channels and some the signal was really poor. It had Apps on the TV such as Netflix but again you couldn’t connect which I thought we would be able to do using our own account. If you were staying a few nights and you fancied a chill night and watching a film then you were going to struggle. It may have only been in this room but as I mentioned for one night if wasn’t a big deal.

Great location, not too far from Skipton. Lovely large room, comfortable bed and tea coffee making facilities as well as an iron and ironing board. It was a hot weekend when we stayed so we were Able to fully utilise the outdoor seating area. The food was superb, we booked in for an evening meal and it was delicious as was breakfast with plenty of choice.

The blinds needed replacing in the bedroom there was a lot of black marks on them that looked like mould. The breakfast menu offers fruit pots these are no longer available. .We have stayed here several times in the past and the breakfast seemed generally poorer quality .This seems to be due to the hotel being taken over .

The room is clean and the bathroom has very nice toiletries ,complementary tea and coffee is also a bonus ,the bed is very comfortable . The evening meal was excellent .Staff are pleasant and very helpful although they seem under pressure as there doesn't seem as many staff as in the past . The grounds are very well kept.

Very comfortable, and picturesque. Room was a nice size, with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and mineral water all provided. Bed was very comfy indeed. Good shower. Decent size car-park, with electric charging points available. Very good food. Comfortable, sunny seating area outside, for drinks and/or food. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive.

Pillows way too thick. What everyone wants in a hotel room is a clean room and clean bathroom and a great nights sleep… but with the thickest pillows we’ve ever seen, neither my husband or myself could get comfortable. My husband ended up with a neck pain from a few hours on it which has persisted for days. Because you offer two pillows for each side of the bed, why not offer a thick one and a thin one? That small investment would have given us a “10” experience. I gave up in the pillows after a half hour and ended up rolling up my sweatshirt and slept on that.

I stayed for 1 night with 3 friends after walking in the Yorkshire Dale's. The accommodation, staff, evening meal and breakfast were all excellent. This was the 3rd time we have stayed here over the years and I would definitely stay here again when walking in Yorkshire.

Nothing - truly nothing was wrong!

Everything welcoming, cosy and perfect. A real gem of a pub hotel - staff were super warm and friendly, bed was comfy, bathroom clean to perfection, breakfast was gorgeous.

There was nothing we didn't like!

A beautiful inn. Our room was warm and comfortable. The bed was super comfy. Everywhere was exceptionally clean. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk. Plenty of parking. The evening meal was delicious and the service was excellent We asked for an early breakfast as we had an event to attend - this was no issue at all and we pre ordered. It was served at 6.30am as requested. Little things like this are what make an establishment stand out from the rest. Would return in a heartbeat - we wish we could have stayed longer.

Stayed a few times and always have an enjoyable stay. Good selection of beers and great food. Some minor changes since our last visit due to change of ownership, not all for the better.
