Coming from a small village we are not used to traffic noise so that was a bit of a nuisance in the room but one it was late in the evening that settled down and we slept well.

Food was excellent, service was superb, ambiance was brilliant. Room was clean and well catered for.

Food only served until 4pm on a Sunday, which is a shame as I saw at least 3 couples disappointed that they couldn't eat there.

Lovely rooms with comfy beds and pillows. All staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely garden with tables and chairs to eat/drink outside & plenty of parking spaces. Good food & well presented.

Bathroom had mould in shower. I dropped my wedding ring on floor when I bent down to pick it up I noticed under the bed was thick with dust/hair/fluff not clean.

Nice room, everything you would need for a comfortable night. Good bed. Sheets and towels spotlessly clean, very good tea tray. Excellent breakfast.

Lovely pub with a great beer garden to be enjoyed. Rooms were outside of the pub with your own front door as such which was ideal. Friendly staff and a delicious fry up included in the room rate. Parking included and ample available. Room had a little fridge with milk and water which was a lovely touch! We stayed due to attending a local wedding but actually would love to stay here again in the future for a night away!

Road noise but quite understand due to location.

The Towel rail was on full heat all night so the bathroom was like a sauna. The bathroom light is on a timer, I’m assuming because of the extractor. Not the end of the world but seems a bit needless and must be wasting so much power for the owner.

Shower stained with mildew at base. Automatic light and fan in bathroom which illuminates whole bedroom in middle of the night. No possibility to open door without Blackpool illuminations.. Situated between two major roads so a bit noisy. Long way from anywhere!

Lovely room, nicely decorated with nice touches like toiletries, tea coffee tray with fresh milk biccies and hot chocolate. Comfortable bed, hot shower. The owners were very helpful and allowed us to pick up a key early and drop our bags off as we going to a wedding .

Our stay was excellent from start to finish. The staff were pleasant and friendly. We were attending a nearby wedding and this was fantastic value for money. Room was spacious, comfortable, quiet and very clean. Breakfast was very good. My husband and I have already discussed returning simply for a night away as we were so pleased with our whole stay. Would highly recommend.

The heated towel rail was boiling! This made the bathroom really hot; I couldn't turn it down or off. If it can't be, a warning sign might need to be added, especially if children are staying in the room.

The staff at dinner and breakfast were very accomodating. We loved having a fridge in our room and the toiletries, biscuits and milk were welcomed. It was a really cosy room. The food was great too. We'd definitely recommend.

The road noise can be heard in the room; it could benefit from some soundproofing.

The rooms, spacious and recently renovated, are exceptionally comfortable.
