Was a good stop point on way up to west coast .staff was nice friendly and we didn't have evening meal but breakfast was nice and drinks in the bar normal prices .bed was comfortable and room was clean

Rooms were average. Towels were very thin and quite small. The shower in the morning was not hot.

The staff were friendly. The restaurant was great. Loved the lamb shank.

Bedroom - ensuite was extremely small. Nowhere to hang towels. Not enough room in shower cubicle to wash properly, nowhere for soap etc. Room itself had no wardrobe or drawers only a rail on which we could hang towels. Breakfast - expected to pay extra for a Fruit tea. Bacon over cooked otherwise not too bad.

It would have been good to have a wider choice of drinks in the room, such as herbal tea bags or decaf coffee.

The hotel staff were wonderful, helpful, friendly and approachable. The room was very clean and we had everything we needed for one night’s stay. We had our evening meal in the restaurant - the menu was varied and the food tasty and plentiful, and reasonably priced.

The road noise did affect my sleep and the walls are very thin, so could hear the people talking all night in the room next to us. If you are a light sleeper like me, you might struggle.

The hotel is lovely and clean and in a good location. The staff were excellent and the food was very good.

The family room had a very good doublebed, but there was a sleeping-couch and two futon-beds for the last 3 beds. Specially the couch was not to good for sleeping, but still it was great value for the money. It would also had been nice with a small fridge.

We stayed 5 adults in a big family room. It was very nice and clean with a great bathroom. The Staff was very friendly. There were a big free parking lot behind the Hotel. The Restaurant at the Hotel is really good with a large menu. We went to the restaurant for both the evenings we stayed. We loved our stay. It was extremely good value for money.

Brilliant Polish lady working at the bar/restsurant that guided us to some interesting places. Very friendly and made us a day! Never met someone that positive. Good hotel.

There was nothing to not like. But you need to be aware, there is road noise, due to location. And there is noise (music) from the bar on an evening. It’s a busy & popular place.. so if you’re looking for quiet & peaceful, this isn’t it. But it was fine for me.

Absolutely every member of staff were friendly & helpful. Housekeeping/Reception/hospitality. Confusion with my booking was dealt with immediately & appropriately. Was a popular venue for locals. Food was excellent. Sunday Roast great value. Pet friendly. Fabulous shower !

The property is really nice. Room is lovely. But windows not great. Can hear everything outside so clear. Lights worked, then didn’t, was frustrating. Bathroom looked lovely but very small, could hardly move in the shower, had to open shower door at side of toilet to move.

The downstairs is stunning, food amazing. Staff are all very nice and helpful, credit to the hotel.
