I’ll sink in the bathroom was constantly blocking and black stuff coming out of it. The room was a bit small kept banging my leg on everything shower door didn’t work properly, but apart from that it was a pleasant stay

The television remote had old batteries in , so couldn't use. One of the bedside lights was damaged and the wall light didn't work. The front door , a fire door was almost impossible to open and the lock was hanging off. The bathroom door was ill fitting and wouldn't close at all. The bi fold shower doors where hanging off so I couldn't let my daughter use it as I felt it was dangerous! I did report my findings to the hotel via e mail but I think it only went as far as the front desk.

The breakfast was excellent, the parking, location all on point.

It was an overnight stay only but very comfortable room and bed and nice washroom. The hotel appeared to be maintained to a high standard. Your hotel is a worthy asset to Romford town and the London Borough of Havering.

Room 310. No rubber seal on shower surround so water all over bathroom slip hazard. This was a disabled access room would be better to have walk in shower or wet room rather than bath.

Only two soft pillows was not too comfortable to sleep on it. Room was extremely hot, heating was off room was still boiling we had to sleep with open windows, street was very noisy.

Receptionist on the phone on arrival, then spent 5 minutes printing bills before giving me my key. The bathroom door would not shut due to broken floor tile, cracked tiles in the shower and other floor areas needed replacement and mouldy tile grout in the shower. Very uncomfortable bed with interesting stains on the side of the mattress.

Decent facilities, very good WiFi and room clean and tidy.

Had a problem parking a couple of times. Couldn't adjust the heating in the room so the bathroom was boiling hot and there wasn't a rubber seal on the shower door so the bathroom floor got soaked and had to use the towels to dry the floor.

the kitchen staff appeared inpatient with customers, taking the food out while customers were still having breakfast. Beddings and pillows need upgrading. the noise outside is so discouraging. sirens kept waking me up at night. don’t take a room close to the windows by the roadside.

The room was unusually situated adjacent to the main hotel as an annex. The door to which was on the main road, fronted by a small front patio and a wall. As a lone female traveller it felt a bit insecure, not being in the main hotel, protected by a hotel front door, reception and a corridor. The room was freezing cold, as the central heating wasn't working. The outside temperature was around 1 degree C. I asked the reception staff about this and was eventually given a small oil filled radiator. I had to leave it on day and night to keep the room warm. The maintenance man had been tasked to fix the central heating in my room and the room next door, but it couldn't be repaired while I was there. The bathroom floor tiles were quite old and cracked. They need to be replaced as they don't look good, especially as the walls are nicely tiled. The shower was a bit of a trial to figure out, in fact there were two showers over the bath hence my confusion. I was also plunged into darkness one evening, when all the lights went out. I was ready for bed, so I had to get dressed, and go out into the street in the freezing cold, to go round into the reception to tell them. Despite the problems while I was there, I will still stay there next time I am visiting my family in Romford. I am sure everything will be sorted out.

On the plus side, the breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. It certainly beats Travelodge and Premier Inn for quality of food. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Shout out for the maintenance man, sorry I don't have any names, he was helpful and politely friendly. The room was quite big, seemed freshly painted, had tea/coffee making facilities with a normal sized kettle. It also had an iron. The bathroom large, with nicely tiled walls.

Very good breakfast, very nice stuff, easy to reach from the railway station, a bus station in front of the hotel, supermarket close to the hotel, on the way from the railway station. Clean room and bathroom, comfortable beds and pillows

We always stay here when in the area. The breakfast is very good and the staff in the restaurant are friendly and always go that extra step to make people feel welcome. The reception staff always go out of their way to help with any special needs you may have and are very welcoming. Beds are comfortable and room is kept nice and clean. All in all a lovely place to stay and good value.

Mould in bathroom (on the ceiling ), bolts for shower controls, poor parking on site, I requested a reserved space for disabled, they advised not necessary, but I really struggled to park ending up squeezing into a space that was not actually there!! No restaurant even though it’s called Hotel and Restaurant in big letters on the building (very strange)

From the outside it looks impressive and the staff were friend Iron in cupboard Warm and comfortable Great towels !!
