Its a long way from Oxford but the bus is quite manageable. Tap on with Google pay was available on the bus.

Comfortable bed and nice and quiet during the week anyhow. Tasty meals.

There was nothing to dislike. We were travelling through and it was perfect for us but it did seem a bit isolated from anywhere else to go, if you were staying there.

Very well thought out and planned. The courtyard was lovely and there felt like a little taverna vibe going on, with low-key music playing quietly which was fab. Our rooms, though not large were very clean and the bed was comfortable. The actual bar and restaurant were full of character and the staff were great. The food was amazing!

    Can’t think of anything

Good variety of hot and cold food, appeared to cater for all tastes. We don’t have allergies so have no idea if that’s addressed. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast, the tables were very clean and well set out.

Maybe a couple of shelves or even a small table in the bathroom would be helpful as no where to place your washbags

The breakfast was excellent! coffee could have been a little stronger but not enough to complain about - the food at breakfast and dinner was excellent, not usual pub type menu the chef brought some interesting choices onto the menu, which were delicious

The location was ideal for visiting Oxford, just A 10 minute drive to the Redbridge park and ride, then a 10 minute hop on a bus to the centre. Easy and stress free.

The shower cubicle was tiny and I’m only a size 8 5’4 woman. I hate to think how a larger person would have got to all their bits in that small place but hey ho not a real complaint just one of life’s struggles. The other thing I noticed was no duvet cover? Maybe this is a thing now? Or maybe I had one of those non-duvet-cover-duvets? In any case I only noticed when the label of the duvet tickled my nose in the morning and woke me up ! Again not a complaint just an observation.

Comfortable and clean room with a good mattress on the bed . Tea/coffee and Biscuits - oh sweet joy!!! Private toilet and good shower. Free wifi - a must and very grateful for that. Friendly staff. Free parking always a bonus for me in my line of work and the location allowed me to run a little bit of the Shakespeare Way before going to my place of work for the day. I love a bit of run tourism.

The breakfast was rather limited in terms of cereal and juice choices. The service bus into Oxford was every hour or so and although Oxford was only about 5 miles away it took 40 minutes to get there because of a tortuous route, Not the C&H's fault!

Lovely relaxed place, pleasant staff and lots of outside room to sit in the sun to eat or drink. Food quality was great. Plenty of room in a large car park.
