Need to use fans to keep room cool, if you open windows expect traffic noise or barrels moved into cellar 0600. Cooked breakfast dissapponting. Low ceiling in single room watch your grab.

Parking was a bit of an issue. Not really hotels fault as there were road works taking up parking spaces. The staff were very helpful in advising where to park. Our dog friendly room was a little on the dark side.

Great location and very dog friendly. All of the staff were very friendly and made a big fuss of our dog which was nice. Dog even had his own breakfast cooked to order.

The room we had was beautiful. The only downside is so little natural light with one window which overlooked a roof and fire escape. I was a bit shocked on one occasion to have a member of the team run up the fire escape pass our roof viewing room. Luckily a towel saved my dignity.

The breakfast and dinner was good. The location is excellent and the reception staff were very efficient and helpful - to the extent that I did not need to visit a Tourist information spot.

Room was hot and although there was a fan and A/C or dehumidifier system it didn’t really cool the room down, and street noise as you are staying above a pub could be problematic however I didn’t find it too disruptive.

Location brilliant, attended at wedding at the abbey so was just a few minutes walk, free car park just about 2 minutes walk away and then breakfast was absolutely beautiful

Noise from the people on the main street was a bit annoying, although it was helpful to have disposable ear plugs amongst the complimentary goodies in the room.

Maybe a 7am start for breakfast rather than 7.30am but that would be really nit-picking as the staff were exceptionally accommodating.

The staff here were exceptionally helpful. They ensured that after a long and difficult journey the kitchen stayed open to feed me and were quick, friendly and efficient when I needed to get away early the next day. Food was good and reasonably priced. The room was beautifully appointed but most of all there were exceptional small touches with everything from a shoe cleaning cloth to a face mask available to ensure I had everything I required - and some! Wish I could have stayed longer.

Some road improvements going on outside but didn't effect us so not marking down. Parking disc system seemed initially complicated but we eventually got the hang of it.

Excellent location in heart of Hexham. Very reasonably priced. Biggest bed we've ever slept in 😄. The whole place looked as through recently refurbished. Staff were delightful friendly & highly motivated especially the breakfast ladies.....a joy!

I assumed I had paid balance as money had left my account . Staff had cancelled payment for no reason. I then had to repay the balance when checking in and wait for origional payment to be refunded into account

Meal was beautiful. All members of my party had lunch. Every member enjoyed their meal.
