To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United States of AmericaThe living space and bedroom was smaller than noted in pictures on website. I would pay a lot less for this type of room in the US. Value for your money was not worth the pretty entrance to the hotel. What I found to be the most difficult for us was the position of room and access to it. You went up a lift around a long hallway then turned and had to go down a couple longer flights of stairs to get to the hallway to our room. No direct lift up and down to our floor. Getting luggage up and down these stairs is not easy, especially if they are large bags. Not accepting cash was another disappointment, just for coffee. If I went to London again, I probably would choose a different hotel.
Beautiful hotel lobby! The staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly. The bathroom was pretty large. Close to Buckingham Castle.

We needed a hotel near Victoria Station for an early start on the Gatwick Express. This was a very pleasant stay with helpful staff. We also ended up going to Wicked as it was 5 minutes walk away.

United States of AmericaBreakfast was expensive at £28.37 per person and while it was an all you can eat option, we actually found a good full English breakfast within 8 minutes walk of the hotel. Hot water was a little erratic but controls worked well enough and we were able to shower throughout the stay. Bathroom very cramped. If you have a 38" waist or more, ask for another room, if they have it. Bathtub rim is very high and some acrobatics needed to stand in the tub. Not for the elderly or physically challenged.
Since there is an access door into the hotel from the main concourse of Victoria Station the hotel could not have been more convenient. We actually came into Victoria from London Gatwick airport on the Gatwick Express and rolled our suitcases 100 yards from the railhead to the entrance. Once in the hotel we were centrally located for everything in that part of London and a few tube stops from other centers in the city. Hotel was well staffed with plenty of help available for suitcases. Mini bar is complimentary with a couple Cokes, waters etc but no alchohol. It is refreshed every day. It was nice to have at least something to drink and a couple light snacks on arrival. We ate at the restaurant for one evening meal where in contrast to breakfast prices were reasonable if a little limited in choice.

Perfect location for us. We were offered a complimentary drink in their bar/restaurant, as our room wasn’t ready. Room was comfortable and very quiet and there is a complimentary minibar, with soft drinks and some snacks. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.
