Slightly steep and narrow stairs up to the rooms. Only worth mentioning as it could be relevant for older guests, was not an issue for us personally.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast (á la carte that includes 2 vegetarian options) included every day, I personally recommend the Eggs Benedicte. Spacious, comfortable and clean rooms. Located a little away from the center of town, so it is a bit calmer, but with great transport options close by. Can't recommend highly enough.

This time last year I booked for £150, so the huge uplift in price to over £260 was a bit of a surprise. Whilst I could pay it this time, I couldn't pay through my main job as the price is now well above my employer's budget, which is a real shame. Unfortunately, the price is now prohibitive.

This is a really lovely place to stay with quality rooms and a luxury breakfast. I was made to feel very welcome and I enjoyed the ambiance in the bar. The bed was very comfy and the room was quiet, so I slept well.

Not their fault (and nit picking because it's so nice) but no lift so we had to walk up two flights of stairs, no issue for us but elderly/disabled guests may struggle. Breakfast the toast was a bit burned, but the rest of it was really nice.

Well decorated and clean room. Quite expensive but you get what you pay for and this was a lovely central london room with breakfast. I was happy to pay for the luxury. Staff were absolutely lovely. The water pressure was excellent, and i actually had a relaxing bath too.

Room and bathroom were lovely, clean and comfortable and only a 15 minute walk away to where I needed to be. The equipment available (tea and coffee making, ironing, safe, fridge) was actually more than I needed but appreciated. Despite being above a pub, noise was not an issue and I slept really well.

Room 8 shares a wall with the kitchen, and it can be a little loud later at night when they're cleaning. There is some street noise on the first floor, but to be expected anywhere in London on a low floor. Beware there are no elevators/lifts and if you're on the 2nd or third floor it's pretty tight and steep. Definitely don't recommend bringing a large, heavy suitcase because of this.

Amazing large room and the staff in the pub was simply outstanding. Made us feel like the C & W was our "local" from the moment we walked in. Delightful breakfast menu and coffees provided every morning. Great selection of beers, though they were out of a few while we were there.

Breakfast. Too contemporary. Also sausage was cooked inside but skins were raw and therefore too chewy. Bacon deep fried and no option for egg to be cooked ( poached rare only 🙄) Finally everything pilled up on a dry piece o’sour dough piece of toast which is also not an an option and without butter!

Lovely room, clean and comfortable bed and nice crisp sheets. Great shower. Breakfast for 2 vegans was fantastic. Despite being on busy road the secondary glazing made the room very quiet. Lovely pub below. Atmospheric.
