Attention to outside of Hotel. Car park could have done with a clean up.

Friendly staff. Good food perhaps a little expensive. Village pub feel within a more than adequate hotel facility. Will return.

Absolutely a gem of a location and a great place to stay. Brilliant value for money. Lovely fire in the snug area and spend a few hours relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. Josh, the barman is a nice guy, but all of the staff are super friendly and helpful. All staff go above and beyond to make you welcome, and they really care for their guests, making sure you have everything they need. The lady doing the breakfast service was really attentive and caring. Food is fantastic with large servings and only suggestion I can offer is to have a few more traditional pub type meals on the menu and a few less upmarket ones but we still had a great meal. Will definitely be back.

I can't say that anything was bad. If I was being super picky it might be the TV was not great but we didn't intend to watch it, other than a quick catch-up of the news in the morning time, so no big problem to us.

The breakfast was great and good quality. Dinner was superb. The beer was good as well. The staff were excellent. Josh the manager was great.

Wow! Where to start? THE friendliest people we've ever met. Josh was amazing, and Jill, who we saw at breakfast was so warm, helpful and they both made our stay perfect. Add the wonderful scenery, exceptional food, both evening meals and the breakfasts, plus the beautiful, generous room with super comfy bed - total relaxation and happiness!!

    Nothing to dislike

Lovely staff who were welcoming, friendly and hardworking. We booked dinner there and it was an absolute treat. We're already planning to return in the autumn for some game for which this pub has awards and after trying the cooking I'm not surprised

There wasn't anything we didnt like

Breakfast was excellent, very friendly and welcoming staff, Dinner menu offered traditional pub food and also a selection of game dishes that the pub has won awards for. There is a great mix of friendly locals and guests - the pub is located about 2 miles from Grassington so was really convenient but has none of the parking hassles with staying in grassington itself. Also nicely positioned for a circular walk to Grassington and back - amazing scenery.

It’s clear the pub is being gradually refurbished but there was nothing that got in the way of enjoying our stay. Our room was lovely and everyone was very happy to have our pooch around.

Lovely and relaxing atmosphere with very friendly and welcoming staff. The unexpected bonus was the calibre of the food, which is amazing and way above what we expected.

We are vegan travellers, and despite this pub being very much a "hunting" and "fishing" forward accommodation, the food options we had were absolutely outstanding. The chef created our own special menu for the second night which was incredible. It was some of the most flavourful food we've ever had. The staff were beyond lovely - they couldn't do enough for us. From helping us create the perfect walk into the village, to serving us at the bar and at breakfast. Such wonderful people. The room was comfortable with everything we needed.

The rooms were a little dated but that's just being picky

Room was ideal for us with our dog. Location was spot on. Staff were polite and couldn't do enough for you. The food was excellent, compliments to the chef. Over all a lovely experience and we will be back.
