A great place to stay. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. There is a great beer garden and plenty of outdoor space. The food was delicious with plenty of options for the evening meal. The hospitality was spot on and we will definitely return at some point in the not too distant future.

Traffic on the journey home (M11 90 mins delay, M25 slow approaching Dartford crossing and M2 20 mins delay for no apparent reason).

Large, comfortable room. Great staff, good food and decent beer. Breakfast was exceptional. Lovely rural location, but only minutes from the A1(M). First time we have been back since Covid and the new team are doing a great job.

Maybe the tv could be bigger,but that's just nitpicking.

The rooms are gorgeous & if the sun's out,there's a table & 2 chairs outside every room,we took some drinks for our room,but went in the bar for a pint & a meal,gorgeous food & generous portions,the breakfast the next morning was the the best breakfast we,ve ever had,& the portions were huge,compliments to every one there,great place,will definitely go back.

Being a little picky, but would have enjoyed a second chair in the bedroom. That's it folks!

The food was excellent. The breakfast had fresh fruit, nice yoghurt, the cooked brekkie was spot on and the service was very good. If anything we were worried the cooked breakfast would be too big - but Adam did it just right! The rooms were large and the shower a lovely deluge! The surrounds were well kept and the carpark very handy. The food variety (home cooked menu, outdoor pizza oven) was good. In addition there was a farm shop adjacent to the carpark with excellent provisions - and the bonus of lambs outside that were fed while we were there. The village was quaint and the church full of historic interest. Would we go back - you bet!

We selected the pub as a half way point stop over on our journey to Norwich and what a good decision. Very quiet location. Lovely room, enormous comfortable bed. The menu for evening meal was varied and additional choices on the blackboard. We add a main and a dessert which were first class. The breakfast was huge and well cooked. The staff were welcoming and very attentive and pleasant. All in all I would recommend it to anyone.

Issues with bathroom lights but once we knew there was an override switch near main room light we were okay. Bathroom could do with a bit of TLC. Shower screen not meeting bath top so water running out when showering etc therefore damaging wooden bath side which did look a bit tatty. However good to see grab handles on wall.

Lovely room, very large bed and brilliant facilities such as mini fridge and very good Wi-Fi access. Very clean. Excellent food and large portions. Very peaceful.

quiet location.. Good spot to explore Grantham and Stamford. beautifully finished rooms. excellent bathroom with a very good shower. bath also available if you prefer! Laundry facilties with excellent farm shop opposite. Comfortable beds... a very good night's sleep was had

Too short a stay.

Quiet, rural setting. Little table and chairs outside the room. Lots of hot water. Fresh milk for the room in a little fridge. Sunday night, the kitchen was closed but they still provided the option of a cold platter. Delicious, excellent breakfast.

All good - once the female members of staff arrived everything was spot on and we couldn’t fault anything about our stay

Both the female members of staff were superb they couldn’t have been more helpful. I hadn’t selected a twin room so there was a slight delay getting the bed split and remade into twins but as soon as the lady in charge realised we needed a twin she was straight on to sort it for us. The grounds were lovely for the dogs.

We arrived late and left very early so we didn't have a lot of time to take it in, but I can say the rooms were exceptionally nice and perfect for a family of weary travelers! The manager Ian was really welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful.
