Great staff, good food, qualiy drinks at the bar. Incredibly friendly and could give the larger chains a lesson. One of the best stays I have had on my travels and puts people like the Copthorne and Holiday Inn to shame, I would love to visit again.

The air conditioning was very cold. We asked for a control, but was advised that it was centrally controlled. It was only possible to adjust the temperature high on the wall - my husband had to climb on a chair to turn off.

Breakfast was excellent served in the bar. Staff were very friendly. Convenient location for an overnight stop near motorway. Quiet at night. Very clean with comfortable bed/

There is a limited choice of vegetarian options on the dinner menu compared to breakfast menu.

Two minor issues. You couldn’t control the air conditioning unit. The second was there was no choice of any cereals and there was no option for marmalade/Jam on the toast. Minor I know considering.

Friendliness of the staff and he quality of the furnishings and room extras was excellent. Cooked breakfast was superb with fresh chilled products giving a nice countryside edge.

The breakfast menu included a large full English cooked breakfast, which was freshly made and very tasty. One cup of tea / coffee was provided at the start of the meal, but it would have been nice to have been offered a refill. There was no fruit juice or cereal available, nor extra toast & marmalade, though toast did come with the cooked breakfast.

Both my sister and I had very large double rooms. Each had a separate tea / coffee making area. Large ensuites with bath & shower over. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was much appreciated on a very warm evening. Guest fridge available in the corridor, though we weren't aware of this til shortly before we were due to check out. The on-site restaurant had a sizeable & varied menu for our evening meal. We both chose the massaman curry, which was delicious.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt relaxed and welcome. The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. It was well stocked with a selection of hot drinks and bottled water. The breakfast selection was good and our choice was excellent.

What's not to like?!

Room was lovely, very spacious with excellent facilities. Outdoor space looked fabulous but only there one night so couldn't take advantage. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast choice fantastic.
