Having to keep asking for milk teabags toilet paper bins never hot empted

The location is good the staff was brilliant But they are under staffed so rooms wasn't getting cleaned through the stay but meals were good

Room:339 Two bookings through different comparison websites receptionist helpful and relocated us to room so we didn't have to change halfway through are stay (two nights) ( one with breakfast) Seaview to the left of the window in our room. And looking over Great Yarmouth pleasure beach. Bedroom clean with twin beds full size bathroom with bath and overhead powerful shower Might be a little dated for some but great value for money when breakfast is included for £55 for one night.. One of the more affordable hotels in Great Yarmouth which is of a large scale.

Some of the decor could do to be brightened up. Facilities a bit dated but functioning adequately. Bar areas ok and prices moŕe then reasonable. My third or fourth visit, will be back for more.

Staff always excellent. Food first class and plenty of it.. Room clean, a little dated. Entertainment average but better then non.

The cleaning staff and cleaning were not very good. When I asked if they could clean the garbage, they asked us to bring the garbage bin to them.

Not told to hand in key to get room cleaned, we stayed 3 nights and bins not emptied, towels not changed or any room cleaned. Would have been good to have been told.

Would have been nice to have been warned that our admittedly lovely twin room was directly above the bar, and very loud music was playing till just past 11pm. However this only happens apparently, on a Tuesday and a Thursday

Hotel was a bit dated, was located right at the end of a corridor which wasn’t ideal for a lone female coming back at night, early checkout as well

Beds creaked like crazy and felt like they were going to collapse at any moment. Desk and bed configuration bizarre, had to shimmy in between few CMs between the bed and desk. Could’ve done with a more thorough clean.

I don't dislike the property, though I think the building needs refurbishment.

The hotel is near the beach area and close to tourist spots.

Four out of the five beds didn't have mattress protectors on. One of my daughters had a long deep cut on her leg and a smaller cut on her arm due to plastic bits sticking out of the mattress when the bottom sheet moved during the night. Two of the beds had castors sticking out to the side of the beds causing myself and my partner to stub our toes. The last time this happened to my partner it caused bleeding and bruising to his toe. Fire alarms went off during one night and the following morning during breakfast and there was no staff around to advise us what to do. The rooms are tired looking, light fittings were cracked, draw handles broken and there were not enough plug sockets in any of the rooms. Also the rooms smelt musty especially in the bathrooms.

Breakfast was good Two rooms were next to each other. Beds were comfortable. Arrived a little early and we could check in and get our rooms straight away.

Not able to bring mobility scooter inside no ramp

Fire alarm going off at 2am with no reason given, very scary as I had my 6 year old daughter with me, 2nd night next door having a part after they got back from a night out, no respect for others asleep, no phone in room to call reception, couldn’t go to reception to report as my 6 year old couldn’t be left alone, other than that was ok
