Potential that some of the recommendation info is out of date as seemed to last be updated in 2021, but this is a very slight improvement and didn't adversely impact our stay. We couldn't get the TV signal to work, not sure if this is normal or not, and to be fair we didn't ask for help! Netflix was working fine so that's the main thing!

The cabin was so comfortable, all the furniture especially the bed. Liked the coffee machine! Everything was very clean and there were ample towels. The book of recommendations was especially good.

Fabulous cabin, with exceptional views and the host is so friendly and welcoming. The cleanliness is outstanding and the cosy warm homely feel makes you not want to leave. Will be back again soon and recommend to everyone.

My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend at The Cabin with all the wonderful amenities it offers, the good taste in its decoration and the peace that its beautiful views and atmosphere gave us. Niel is an excellent host, we are sure that we will return very soon.

The cabin was much more spacious in person and very beautifully designed. Lots of comfortable seating and lovely decor. We came to stay for a wedding but would have loved to have stayed longer. We felt the most relaxed we have in years, super comfortable bed nd very lovely hosts! 11/10. I have friends arranging to book after hearing about our stay and we will most certainly be back ourselves. Thank you

The road into culkybacky town doesn't have pavement alot of the way and as it's a mile and a half away you would need a taxi or lift.

The cabin was only a 5 minute taxi journey away from culkybacky high street at a cost of £5. The cabin was clean and spacious. Nial the owner was welcoming and helpful. The views from the cabin are tranquil, countryside as far as the eye can see. A fishing lake you can walk round.

We loved every moment of our stay at The Cabin. From the moment we arrived, The Cabin, the views, the cleanliness all was exceptionally. Interior has a beautiful country cosy warm feeling of home. You really don’t want to leave. The host was friendly, polite, informative, lovely person. Even the family dog Mac, was friendly. Was able to take a walk around the lake in the grounds of The Cabin, which was lovely to do. The quietness is really relaxing and allows you to unwind, chill and enjoy yourself how you please… either reading a book or enjoying the views.

2nd time staying at the cabin an it is fab! the location is perfect for the attractions of the north coast. the scenery from the cabin itself is beautiful and the owners are so nice. we also love the morning visits from the resident cocker spaniel

Lovely location with a lovely view , lodge was amazing clean and tidy and a lovely host who was very helpful and pleasant even gave us a lift to the local shops as we was unsure of our surroundings. Nothing! We were only staying a short while so the facilities suited our needs perfectly, if we were staying longer we may have struggled if we wanted to dine in.
